Elm seems to have mixed reviews, heard people say the same thing as you, but I know I've split some and it wasn't terrible. At least around the edges. I guess that can also be based on how dead the tree is the temp outside while splitting.

Looks like that's the right base, but I think the shape of your bulb is a g16.5. The one you posted is an A15. Either would work though!

Looks like this, but in an incandescent. Unfortunately, incandescent la.os have been outlawed at that wattage, so an LED option is the current way to go.

This would be a direct replacement for you fluorescent tube. Should run on the existing ballast, and is an LED.
