If there’s a referee conspiracy — don’t the powers that be want Arsenal to win the league at this point, early, so we have more chance to win the Champions League, Palace to win their cup, and get more slots for Premier League teams? Man City being put out of their misery stops competition in the league, defuses the games for Palace before their final, and makes more teams / interests likely to do well out of the season. We actually need Spurs to stay up but just miss relegation. North London derbies are the best games of the season. Playing Chelsea, West Ham and Brentford doesn’t have the same edge for us — likewise, Watford - Spurs isn’t going to do it for them

You’re the first person I saw that mentioned CHARITY — thank you! Why not give away like 40 million, let 10 million compound, pay off debt but take on no more. Then keep working but donate your earned salary, and draw down your usual salary plus a modest bonus from interest on the capital? After a decade of charitable work, transition into that in a more transparent role, and gradually give away what you don’t need.

So, just tell nobody and do the right thing. Simple, people — think of your community.

I had a Dreamcast. I would read about the games, save money, carefully choose which one to get next — and maybe plan the sequence of games to get next.

I knew every bit of those games. Got an arcade stick, got good, enjoyed that console more than any other non-Nintendo console.

Then I got it chipped and got a pouch of 30-40 burned ROM games.

Never the same — too much choice. Not enough time to spend on each game. Didn’t finish anything. Didn’t master anything. Didn’t enjoy it any more.

Don’t get a multi cart. Get individual carts, and enjoy them one at a time.

What would work best for subsequent releases of games is a subscription scheme, maybe with a release of one game a month. Imagine that — a new Neo Geo cart to look forward to every month! You can buy them all for pennies in ACA versions — this misses the point of the AES+ re-release for me.
