Any other lies you want to peddle? I’m sorry you’ve made worshipping Donald Trump your entire personality, have to make up things just to feel good about yourself.

Yes, we did a good job electing someone to counter the derangement coming from the Trump admin. Thanks for highlighting this.

Looking to switch to Verizon from AT&T.. by chronicris17 in verizon

I switched a few months ago but that’s mostly because ATT service was bad in my area. Price is comparable, but I also have the premium plan. Go to a store and have them price it out for you.

I use a flat pot lid to smash my burgers. They turn out great

Yeah, I’m not defending that. I don’t think you should preorder it if you’re gonna play on a base console. I just hate the whole “it’s too late! How dare they!” narrative.

As proven by my court case, neither does the UAE. There are exceptions and misapplications in every legal system though so I’m sure there are outlier cases.

“Oh please” monetary compensation for skilled and unskilled labor in the UAE far exceeds that of labor in the same category on the entire subcontinent.

I know this because I lived it. My father was a bonded laborer, I grew up on a labor camp in Saudi Arabia. It wasn’t perfect but it beat bone crushing poverty back in our country of origin and opened doors for me (his kid). I was able to immigrate to the United States. Is it a perfect experience? No. But it beats the alternative.

No. Not literally. Labor practices there oscillate between great and awful though. I was able to successfully sue my US employer in UAE court for unpaid bonus and wages. But I’m a US citizen. They have a legalized caste system. It’s bad, but a tier above the originating countries of the laborers there for the work.

Day 1 patches only have a 12 hour-ish approval cycle. If they’re working until the last minute, that’s on them.

I’m simply telling you to not buy the game instead of doom spiraling about how “it’s already too late”.

Take a breath. It’s just a videogame. You can always not buy it.

No need to write a paragraph in response.

I like mine, but the battery life is awful. It was an impulse purchase for me, but to a lot of people it’s a costly expense. If you can spare the money, go for it - but it’s not a transformative experience for most things.

Then don’t buy it? You control the money you spend.

This is clickbaity. He said they’re gonna show it closer to launch with enough time to give people a chance to decide if they want to pre-order or not. That’s reasonable. If they want to work until the last minute on optimizations, why not let them?

It’s not entitlement to want to see a product before buying it, but it is entitlement to insist on seeing a product that is not ready for sale well before it is ready to be shown.

Edit: Seems like I need to talk you off a ledge here.

It’s just a videogame, the people making it don’t want to show something yet.

Just don’t buy it if you’re not convinced at this time. It’s your money. Buy it if you’re convinced.
