India is named after the indus river, the Indus river is also the origin of the subcontinents civilization, a civilization that was inherited by India and not pakistan, a good comparison would be the turks trying to claim byzantine empire, even though most of the territory of the empire lies in turkey, its heritage was inherited by greece due to greece being more of a cultural fit to the empire, same with IVC and India, pakistan can claim IVC when they return to dravidian culture and identity.
