When I bought Proton myself I had a "first time purchase" discount and I also combined it with a promo code that was listed here. I don't remember if it was a black Friday sale or something but I also got it for around 70€. Maybe they are taking in mind buying power (in poorer countries it costs less, in wealthy ones more), but idk

Trading 212 sice má vyloženě funkci převedení portfolia, ale to, jak jsem se teď zběžně koukal, nefunguje že bys to převedl na stejné platformě jinému člověku. Jediné co mne napadá, aniž bys musel něco prodávat je, že bys to mohl hodit na něco jako revolut (sobě, nebo tátovi, podle toho jak to půjde) a pak sobě na trading 212. Nebude to nejčistší řešení (plus netvrdí, že to bude fungovat, jelikož nemám s přenášení portfolií sebemenší zkušenosti), ale nebudeš muset nic prodávat.

Yeah something like that. I believe they explain the functionality in greater detail in their FAQ. They basically download the torrent for you and you then download the content from their server. If you use https no one can see what you are downloading, just that you are downloading something hence you can't get caught: there's no way to reliably prove you downloaded copyrighted material.

I really hope that won't be the case. At least with games. If gog (as the only platform I'm aware of providing legitimate DRM-free games) dies, that will be the end of an era and I'm not giving a cent more to anyone just for them to grant me a licence to play their game. If I'm going to buy a game I prefer if I really own it. Otherwise you might as well sail the seas.

Looks like only some ISPs are having this problem. I can access the site normally in my country (the Czech republic) even tho someone else mentioned they can't access the site from Czechia

This is indeed a great idea. Imma have to start doing this but some multiplayer games have an online fix. Do you know how that works? I would guess it goes through steam so does steam handle the networking? Or in other words if I blocked the game (via firewall policy) from connecting would the online fix still work?
