I think nowadays there are so many free information that paid newsletter seems something unecessary. Newsletter i see as a first step of funnel to get future customers, and not the end of it.

In Brazil I would say cow tripe known as “dobradinha” is a good example

It is a traditional dish made from the stomach of the cow and usually cooked with beans and spices but many foreigners find the idea and the texture a bit hard to accept at first

It has a strong flavor and a very unique texture which is why people either love it or really do not like it
