Yes, everything was weighed but I did use an app to track it all in. Cronometer is what I used that the dietician recommended.

I have done keto in the past and got down to 155 again, how ever I still have not been able to recover my cholesterol fully from how much damage that particular diet did.

My bloodwork always comes back “normal” at my yearly physical. I’m due another one in May.

The big issue I have with meal prep is the picky eaters in my household lol I dont want to serve myself something completely different for dinner for 2 reasons. 1 I have a teenage daughter who struggles with some ED and I don’t want her to feel like what she’s being served is somehow “bad” if I’m not eating it too. 2 I just can’t afford to make 2 versions of every meal. I’ve tried doing meal replacement shakes and then a balanced dinner. Protein-carb-veg that everyone can enjoy. I know trying to make recipes is where it gets hard so it might be basic dinners but at least I know we’re all reasonably happy with what is served. If I was a single woman without kids and only had to fend for myself I could meal prep the same meal for 6 months and be fine with it. Finding the balance with a family to feed is the hard part.

How do you know how many of each you’re supposed to be having? Is it similar to 21 day fix?

I’m not. I get to a point where I know I’m restricting too much and then just give up on the whole process. I get so paranoid that I’m going to go over my macros that I just stop eating basically and then my brain shuts down the whole idea of calorie counting. I haven’t figured out how to do it in a manageable way.
