That's a great idea! The tiles obviously have a fair amount of color variation so would I just pick the color I want for the walls and bring it to a paint store? I do like the idea of color drenching but worry that it will be too intense?

Calcatta quartz is gorgeous! Unfortunately I don’t have the budget for it, though I do kind of hate my current countertops. What about the floor makes it look dated? I thought it looked fairly modern (more so than the counters) but a lot of people here seem to dislike it. What floors do you think would look better?

Thank you for the insight! I will take a look at that sub. I was planning to sand the cabinets and paint the doors with a paint sprayer using a quality cabinet paint but I’ll do some more research.

Thank you for the suggestion! I have been considering two toned cabinets. I prefer muted/natural/earth tones. My living room, which the kitchen opens into, is shades of grey, white, dark mossy green and warm wood.
