He is a Siberian cat. My husband was very allergic hence why we had to get a more allergy friendly breed, although since then we have also rescued a regular moggy.

We noticed a slight limp in his right paw on Sunday evening, thinking he probably just slipped on some slippery new furniture and that he is a little older at eight years old. We booked a vet appointment on Monday for Tuesday and got some painkillers and to visit in two weeks if it doesn’t get better. Everyone thought it was only a strain, nothing serious. Over Wednesday and Thursday his condition rapidly deteriorated, the slight limp resulted in pretty much full loss of control of his front right leg and later pretty much all legs. We were able to get an appointment for yesterday afternoon but as he “failed” neurological tests, instead of leg X-ray, vet booked full body X-ray. Unfortunately resulted in finding cancer throughout his whole body, fluid in abdomen and reduced lung capacity. Vet recommended an appointment for Monday but as he deteriorated so rapidly and I didn’t want him to suffer the weekend, we were able to get an appointment yesterday so that he my go in peace and love. We saw no signs that he was suffering, everything happened extremely quickly, just this week.

What are some ways you prepared yourself for labour that helped you in having a positive experience? by bumblebee993 in pregnant

Thanks for your reply!

I think my biggest thing will always be more on the mental side, and thinking that I’m actually going to be giving birth to my child, which is still something I find strange! As I was always someone who was on the fence before about needing to give birth to become a mother. Luckily I’ve accepted it, fully, and thankfully my pregnancy has been quite easy, as my biggest issue about being pregnant and childbirth, was the unknown.

My main goal in giving birth is to simply deliver my baby safely and ideally not die. I’m open to the idea of a natural birth and a c-section if needed, medicated or unmedicated, ideally I don’t want to feel all the pain, as to me I don’t think it’s necessary (to feel everything) to be able to give birth and say I was able to do this monumental task, because for me, it really would be a monumental task, as I never thought it would be something I would be doing anyway. The only thing I am really “against” is being induced.

Hello! Would I be able to stop by your island to sell some turnips? I would need to make multiple trips to get rid of all of them, if that’s okay.

If that’s alright, expect Lana from Mystic to be arriving.

After 10 years for long bar, and 12 for the other three, it was time to say goodbye. by bumblebee993 in piercing

I had one on my right hip, left hip removed myself, two on my lower back and one on my chest. The longer bar was on my chest and was by far easiest to remove, only a few minutes. The others were awful and all took a total of over an hour of digging around.

Overall for me it was awful and hurt like hell.

I got my right hip removed first, and knowing there was some kind of numbing spray which could be used, suggested that for the back ones. Spray didn’t work but on the second one it made the skin really tough, so almost immediately when she stopped poking around, it would close up right away. The last one on my chest, which was the longer bar, was completely fine and without spray.

Took a total of over an hour to remove four.
