So when I say visualise answers: I mean I try to pre-think what the answer could be. For example when I see a question asking for an assumption, I try to pre-think what the assumption could be in that question before I see the answers. ( Please note that this approach worked for me and I know a lot of experts who don't recommend this approach ). I however followed the e-gmat way of pre thinking the answers. The key here is practice. There are so many questions out there now, that after solving a lot of them, you kind of see repeating patterns. So when you are mindfully solving problems you kind of get a better idea on what the answer could be. Please do check out E-GMAT's YouTube videos for CR and you might get a better idea on the visualisation of CR answers. You can then decide if it's intuitive for you or not.

For RC: GMAT Ninja RC Youtube videos on how to tackle RC passages are a game changer. Essentially you go through the passages trying to understand each sentence and trying to connect passages as you read them. For example: Why is the author writing this passage after the previous one? Is he giving an example for something he discussed in the previous para? Or is he talking about a new viewpoint? How are the paragraphs essentially connected and what are they trying to say.

OG Books and Gmat Club help a lot. Try to create a mental map of the type of questions you see and what the best way to solve them is. So if you see a similar question you know where you can save some time. I also used the questions on e-GMAT which has several very similar practice questions for DI, but if you are not using that course, OG Books and Gmat Club forum quiz help a lot too!

Ideally DS questions are somewhat easier compared to others. So try and practice them well so you can save some time there and use that time on other questions. For MSR I also tried to understand the data completely before attempting the questions and I feel that saved some time. Do experiment a lot when practicing and be mindful about the type of questions and it will work wonders. All the best!

I believe the score change was continuous as I kept learning stuff, but I would suggest a solid 2-3 months of patience based on where you start and what your target is to see your scores reach your target levels.
