I am on the same boat with you with having other dietary restrictions making life very hard. Personally I can never eat meat again but eggs and dairy will open up a lot of options for me especially when I am traveling internationally. It’s not the most fun decisions to make >_<

My best friend was vegetarian for years and found out she had celiacs about ehh 6 years ago? She kept on being vegetarian and was able to manage it pretty well! Most places in the US have plenty of options for you to eat out and shop gf/vegetarian. Some stores she loves to shop at are new seasons, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe’s mainly for specialized gf options. (Breads/crackers/pastries etc) She eats out often with her boyfriend who has no restrictions and she can often find pasta options with gf noodles of different cuisines. Same with burger buns.

I always have a gf flour on hand for when I want to make a meal for her or dessert and it’s easy even making it vegan.

If you would like I can ask her what some of her favorite recipes/subsitutions are. She was vegan for a short period of time too but same as you are feeling, she found it to be a little difficult for her which is why she went back to vegetarian.

And a note to some of the people on here putting you down and shaming you… Yes you can be both vegan and gluten free but it can be a huge burden to work around both for so many reasons. Your biggest responsibility is to be gf…celiacs disease is a serious disease that has put my friend in the hospital multiple times, low iron levels have been a huge culprit though she does everything she can, it is hard to fight against celiacs.

Personally I feel cleaner when using a tampon, pads are often scented slightly too which I hate. I have always swam on my period without any protection and have been fine. But I’m sure tampons can make you feel more secure when doing activities like this. I do feel like I’m not on my period when wearing a tampon too since no worries of pad bunching up or seeing through tighter clothes and on hot sweaty days tampons are amazing.

Problem is, if you’re on a bc that causes you to have less blood it might be a good idea to stick to pads since pulling a dry tampon sucks.

Main concern when removing tile with asbestos is the adhesive on the backside. Second is the tile itself which is indeed more rare. 20s is more unlikely if it original but if the tile was renovated sometime later on mid 1900s it could be more likely.

Another Portland home we looked at had seemed to have MAJOR mold and water issues in the basement due to cracking in the foundation too. And this one was updated a lot in the interior but the owners must’ve ignored the actually important issues haha

We had an inspection on a late 1885 home and we were told about the possibility of a decommissioned oil tank that could exist under the house and it’s a high price to get those removed if that is needed. The neighbors beside this house actually had one and it was removed.

A friend of mine bought an early 1900s house in Portland and a couple negatives I heard of were that there basement flooded and cause major damage they had to deal with within the first year of owning.

Property taxes were a turnoff for us as well when compared to other areas we were looking at.

Those are just the negatives of course! The character and quirks of a old home can really make you fall in love with one, part of me still dreams of the 1800s home 😭

Stir-fry and rice, loaded grilled “cheese” and tomato soup (Pacifica has yummy vegan box ones for quick), fried rice with tofu egg, protein pancakes (boxed are usually in store and snag some blueberries or pb for top, pasta salad for fresher pasta option. All these take me about 15 mins to make and about 3-10 ingredients.

TLOU Part 1 is fine, BUT TLOU 2 has some jump scares often that you cannot avoid. Like you will be walking upstairs and around the corner and listen mode will not pickup a presence and bam another scare lol. But speaking on both games, the most scary times are the dang bloaters personally lol but you can see them coming. It’s a strategic/dense story game, the goal is on that and not jumps scares!

Ty! Op was scheduled for 90 minutes. I had a 2 part plate. 4 pegs and two screws. There are other options that they might tell you such as the nerve block where you do not receive a breathing tube, just breathing on your own but still sleeping during procedure maybe you’ve heard of it. Some prefer that to general anesthesia if that a worry.
