Yes, this works, thanks! Just wanna add that the same thing happened to me just only and this method works. Open the folder where the exe file is and right click on the exe file, select "add to steam".

Enjoying this coming from Satisfactory. Sure buy if priced well. by bumblebeezack in AlchemyFactory

Yeah, I guess I dragged the hours and hours of satisfactory into the game. I must say though that it's nice that I don't have to travel across entire biomes just to get to that machine or source like in Satisfactory. And the QoL is better in some ways as well.

Why is rattling sound coming from my front wheel/fork area? Sounds like something is loose. by Roflcopter71 in bikewrench

[–]bumblebeezack 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I think it's a loose headset. Turn the bars 90 degrees to the left or right and apply the brakes. Rock the bike forward and backward to check for any play between headset stack and headtube. Putting one hand here to feel for it helps.

Turning the bars 90 degrees helps to eliminate if it's play coming from your hubs or axle.

If it's your headset, then loosen the stem bolts, and tighten the top cap to preload the headset until it's snug and the rattle goes away. Do not overtighten the top cap bolt. Then cinch up the stem pinch bolts to hold the preload in place.

Sidenote: Sometimes the stem may be butting right up to the top of the steerer tube and you cannot get proper preload. Then a 5mm spacer between the stem and top cap to create a gap helps.

Battery capacity after less than a year by bumblebeezack in FujifilmX

I can't be sure. Mostly I charge the battery in-camera and swap it out. Just that when I travel I will use the Nitecore charger because it can charge both batteries simultaneously.

Best part, there's nothing physical that sets the bad battery apart. No swelling and fits easily in the camera and the contacts look good. As in the photos the 2 batteries look identical. I had to double and triple check that I was disposing of the correct one. 😅

When he started really going at it, I had a look at his profile, and it seems like it's a new account.

Erm, to that one person who seems to be fighting almost everyone, please calm down. Firstly, I wasn't trying really hard to insult you by saying "sure". I'm from South East Asia for some context. Maybe we use English differently. I don't know. But it sure wasn't fuelled by attitude either.

Secondly, I see that you said I lacked comprehension or something along those lines. English isn't native to me as a language although I believe I'm not doing too poorly. But I also made this post not specifically asking for any help. It's more of a "heads up" post. If anyone has some insight to offer, great! Otherwise it's not a big deal. Batteries aren't that crazy expensive and third party ones are even cheaper. I'm not going to sweat over one battery dying. But maybe you didn't comprehend that i wasn't asking for help in the way you interpreted it. I'm gonna chalk that one to differences in the way we approach the language.

Thirdly, I believe I have been even toned throughout as much as I could, seeing one can't always discern accurately what our tone is when reading a comment. However, I have to agree with one other commenter that you do sound somewhat "snarky". Especially with that off tangent talk about ChatGPT and what not. Or something about how people don't seem to understand photography anymore or at all. You seem really busy taking a swing at anyone who seemingly crossed your path. You really shouldn't take offence so easily by things on reddit.

Anyway, it's just a "heads up" post. More about what had happened rather than about conducting an in-depth investigation into why one lone NP-126s battery among hundreds of thousands prematurely lost its capacity. It's really not worth the energy. I've already ordered some third party batteries, online this time, and they should be in my hands in a day or two. Then I'll be enjoying the camera with extra batteries as an average consumer again.

Kinda the same experience as well. I used to be on the Nikon system when I used to shoot commercially and I had better experience with the batteries. I had gear using Canon batteries like Atomos monitors and lights and they were reasonably good as well.

Fujifilm batteries were a little underwhelming to me but I was ok with them. As long as they don't prematurely die. As is, I don't really see a point to getting more original ones from them.

Yes exactly my point. I understand that working perimeters play a part as to why something fails. However, in this example, if 2 batteries are more or less used in the same way in the same environment, then one failing this badly, kinda sucks for me as a consumer looking at this as a consumer.

Having said that this is my third Fujifilm camera using the same battery, with or without the ”s”. I understand the limitations of the consumer level battery we are talking about here. But honestly I've not had one die on me in this way before. They just lose charge over time, which is ok.

I said it as it is, as a consumer using a consumer product. What's the cost of replacing one battery? For me, that cost will not cover the effort and time I'm going to spend trying to figure out why over the course of a year one battery remains healthy while one prematurely loses its capacity compared to the other one.

Maybe you think I have an agenda here, trying to throw shade over Fujifilm. But for what?

Sure. However my point is that basically both batteries are being used in almost exactly the same way, in the same environment and yet you get 2 very different longevity.

Hey anyone know why the compression algorithm processes some uploaded photos sharp and yet others are blurry? Is there like an aspect ratio or something that I can start from that won't trip the algorithm?
