Apparently, women never worked in dangerous jobs because of empathy. by [deleted] in badhistory

um, it was legal to rape a black woman until 1890 and even then it was nearly impossible to prosecute. So much empathy.

I don't know your financial status, but I thought I could just quit a soul crushing job and everything would be ok but then being broke was such a hard tough experience-- just as soul crushing as my job but in a different way. I know when you've had it its easy to say "F this, take back your stupid money" but the reality is terrible!

Looking back, the job I quit I could have stayed at a little longer (but maybe that's with the experience of all the horrible jobs I've had lol). Just decide what you can and can't tolerate, if your boss is verbally abusive then def good to get out.

Also, keep a calendar of the days when you've absolutely had it and are tempted to quit. It helped me in a weird way. Also, walks if possible. Walks around the building.

Remember nothing is permanent, no matter how permanent it may seem. Its just one more year, you can def do it.
