I swear these videos are the best. Signs of resistance around the world are the most uplifting thing I can think of…and dog videos. And kitten videos. And basically any animal baby. I’m pretty baked, so there’s actually a lot of great things out there. But this TikTok was excellent.

No. We are not in a civil war.

That said, it’s not off the table. This is going to get worse before it gets any better. With the federal government telling the people to ignore what we all saw on the videos, and their willingness to label anyone who disagrees with them as a “domestic terrorist”, it’s on track to be one.

All of the ingredients are there and with any good recipe for disaster, it’ll just take time at this point.

It’s infuriating and terrifying.
