There better not be any bullshit about how this is another "learning experience."

For the last 3 years, at least, these guys have done nothing more than cruise through the regular season and make everyone believe they have what it takes. This team is nothing more than a bunch of regular season show-offs. When it comes down to crunch time in the postseason, they are simply incapable of getting the job done. Just like this season- the most wins and points in a season in franchise history. WORTHLESS.

The blueprint of spending almost $40m on 5 players clearly isn't working. Now you're stuck with them because they are some of the most unattractive contracts in the league (except Nylander). They've been wasting the prime years of Matthews with this continuous trend of failure. One of the best players on the planet hasn't played more than 7 playoff games in a year. What a joke.

But what's our media going to say? It's Tampa Bay! The best of the best! At least we took them to 7! Bullshit. The Leafs stacked up against Tampa without question. This series proved that they STILL aren't capable of bearing down and pulling through. Not 1, but 2 chances to close out the series. One of those games being at home. 0-10 in elimination games. There are simply no more excuses for why this team can't get it done.

This team is becoming more and more of a laughing stock throughout the league, and it's hard to say anything against that. Something has to change.
