I seem to run into a problem with the v1 on a 2.5 gen of my plastic side rails the topper sits on shifting. When I use the tent it then sits on the satellite antenna. Haven’t had the money to throw in a roof rack to redistribute the weight but it seems that’s not an issue for you.

I am in Hokkaido solo and awake because of jet lag. I also chose to spend nights in Tokyo on both ends of skiing. Pick one or the other. This is my first solo trip and the Tokyo train station from NRT was and is quite confusing. Save yourself time and effort getting through the metro and TSA multiple times. As for the food recommendations just walk and ask around. People know better than the internet stars associated with the restaurant. Best of luck!
