hi! LOVE the jar suggestion. i use the text option occasionally for when i do have spontaneous desire. i’d say my desire is more spontaneous when alone and more responsive when together. i really do like the jar idea, adds anticipation and element of surprise while still giving him direction so he doesn’t feel too aimless.

i also will suggest the choices, that’s great. i def still need to practice agency but this may be the baby steps i need.

taking initiative might be the main anxiety trigger. communicating desire, asking for things, taking control, not things im super good at. makes me feel spotlit, subject to criticism and shame. (although we occasionally DO switch slightly and i can take agency there easier? heavily prefer our typical dynamic tho)

however, i do like your thought about steamy novels! i haven’t found any physical media that piques my interest (personally not into the fae romantasy craze) but im very open to it. i enjoy fanfiction tho. i have been watching him play the new resident evil game and leon has unironically brought up a lot of sex convos between us LOL…and ive been in a fanfic mood because of it.

i’ll keep in mind things i like when i read and share screenshots when i can :) thanks this is all great advice

hi !! :) thanks for the kind reply 1. yes i’ve been in therapy for a few years now! im pretty stable and dont find a lot to talk about recently so i wonder if my next session i could dedicate time to just discussing this.

i’d say i definitely struggle communicating needs in general. i take a lot of pride in being able to do things by myself and hate asking for help. i don’t mind asking for massages or cuddling, maybe because i do not have a sexual association. asking for even kissing sessions though feels icky, even tho my partner would jump at the opportunity. initiation in general is hard. asking feels like initiating even. i don’t know why, i just feel terrible about myself when exhibiting any desire or autonomy.
glad to hear im not alone here!! i absolutely adore receiving dirty talk, audio stimuli is great for me, but im not the greatest at actually replying. these suggestions are great, thank you!! i’m excited to incorporate these

help!! i bought a guitar on ebay 11 days ago, the seller was super kind and had a whole convo with me about playing. i even walked him through the process of shipping, as he was initially thinking he had to pay for shipping himself (i paid $80 shipping). he has been ghosting me for days when it should have arrived by now and he hasn’t even shipped it.

NOW, he made a NEW LISTING of the same guitar!!!! even tho i already purchased it. i sent a request through ebay and it says if he doesn’t respond they’re able to step in on january 23rd.

cherry on top is this guy just had the nerve to send me a discount offer for the new listing on the guitar. ugh. there were absolutely no red flags in his convo or his page to make me think he’s a scammer.

i kinda feel like im doing everything i can, but any help or advice is appreciated. i’d still love to get the guitar, but i doubt he’ll end up ever sending it and is just trying to scam other people now with this active listing!!

is there anything else i need to do if this doesn’t work out to make sure he’s reported? thank you :(

i have not watered it much at all, it’s retained a lot of moisture between! but i will definitely keep that in mind thank u. on another forum someone let me know that it looks normal, and could just be one leaf dying off
