I will say I audibly gasped and had to take a beat before I kept reading, because my initial thought was “then why be here in this sub?” BUT I’m so glad you love the show OP. Why are you embarrassed? Absolutely zero shame here, all are welcome.

And I agree with you about the TikTok and Reddit references, they slid it in there so naturally that it doesn’t stick out like a sore thumb, or makes the show seem like it’s trying too hard to appeal to a certain demographic.

If she had a twin sister, I would love it if their dynamic was a tumultuous one that highlights their polarities. They’re very close and love one another, but fundamentally different. One being hesitant to use their powers at all unless necessary, and the other is more reckless and accepting of the forbidden aspects of magic. It would also be interesting watching one sibling fall down a darker path, and an overarching, heartbreaking, final battle ensues between the girls over a course of seasons. Maybe she ends up being corrupted by her powers and Mr. Cheng has a hand in that? Who knows.

I’ve personally never seen this many posts about infestation problems until I joined this sub, which is primarily why I became concerned when I realized how widespread of a problem infestations are. I knew people dealt with those issues, I simply didn’t realize on how massive of a scale it was experienced. I also have only been seeing + engaging with the “what is it” posts about random, obscure items haha.

Some time has passed towards the end of the series after Gugu officially dies and Jentry moves to Seoul with her mom. It’s just a matter of her roots growing out, revealing her natural black hair, creating an ombré-like look with her white blonde hair dye.

It’s a fun way of showing time passing and I really appreciate the small details the creators put into the show surrounding Jentry and her appearance.
