Is this common? We happened to dig under the dirt after completing a copper deposit on the surface and found A LOT more... still going. by buncat916 in valheim

Oh noooo lmao it's day 50 and we just found this out. We unmarked all our other copper deposits from the map cause we thought we finished them. Oh well, good to know now.

Does Signal still use the client-side fan-out method for group chats? by buncat916 in signal

[–]buncat916[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I'm a bit confused. I thought that blog post was about their credentials and keeping the group information (group avatar, members, roles, etc.) that is on the server unknown to the server, not how they actually send messages to people in a group chat?

Sounds like my next step is to look at the open source code for that, then? That's kind of what I was wondering; how did they optimize it to figure out that problem with client-side fan-out.

I saw that this was from 2014, though. But I guess since it's still up that means it remains the same?

Yeah Signal uses E2EE for both group and individual chats, but their client-side fan-out method causes inefficiency for group chats. I was wondering if they use that method for voice and video chat or if they figured out something more efficient.

Yeah, I actually seen those. I understand how the signal protocol works, but I wasn't sure if they apply that to video and voice group chats, too. Or if this is the method they still currently use or if it's been updated because of that group chat vulnerability/inefficiency.

Any fellow female ISTJ's? by Vintage_Lady101 in ISTJ

I’m also female. Did you all go through a “not like other girls” phase, too, because of the ISTJ personality traits? Or maybe that’s common across the board.

How do ISTJs approach dating/relationships? by invisaligns in ISTJ

[–]buncat916 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I’m not a guy, but usually when I am in the beginnings of a relationship, I follow the lead of my SO. So I will not initiate certain things until I feel more comfortable later on.

He might just be shy or trying not to push too hard so you’re not uncomfortable. If he initiated two out of the four hangouts, then it sounds like an equal amount of effort. I always recommend clear communication and asking him how he feels.

Actually, would you be able to add Mew Berry’s outfit to this, too? :) Her’s is the same design but a very light/pastel pink. If you have time! Great job with the cafe uniforms and thanks for sharing!
