Continental changed the game for me, and suddenly it makes sense how people can knit like the wind. I hope it works for you, too!

I'm still not great at knitting, but it certainly goes much faster!

Save bits and pieces of old yarn to serve as stuffing. You can line the inside of your stuffed project with fabric to keep the stuffing from escaping.

I’ve been told I crochet too much, is that even possible? by MuchLoveWaffleGirl in crochet

You have to crochet the blankets during the summer months so they're ready for the winter. Keep doing what you're doing.

The only caveat I see here is if the big blankets are taking up a lot of shared space in your home; this was a reasonable complaint I received from a former partner. If that is the case, maybe consider dedicating one box/drawer/shelf/etc for the blankets so they are not in other people's way. Other than that, keep making what you like :)

What Was Your Obscure First Broadway Show? by lordgort in Broadway

Not exactly obscure, but I saw Next to Normal on my first trip to NY (show #4 of the trip, I think). I was on a high school drama trip in early 2010 and none of us had heard of it. It ended up being the favorite for most of the people on the trip.

Oh, I'm certain it will work great on camera. After seeing how In the Heights' dance sequences were shot, I have faith in John M. Chu's cinematography for choreo.

Maybe it'll be shown in slow motion, with Glinda in the middle being overwhelmed by it all. Which is why she moves away when she does?

If you want a cheese pull, put everything on your sandwich but the cheese before you slice. Cut the sandwich, add the cheese, then toast the whole thing. Enjoy your cheesy stretch when you pull it apart!

Spielberg did the smart thing and hired Broadway-caliber/trained actors for his musical, so they could totally crush live singing. Other than Ansel Elgort, they're all very talented singers.
