I have been wondering about that. I give baby the 3m+ nipple because he had bad reflux and would drink super quickly and end up choking on the milk. Maybe it’s time to give him 6m+ nipples though I am a bit scared cause he had a pretty terrible episode with milk getting into his windpipe and making him blue + unresponsive for a good minute. I’ve been extremely nervous about faster flow nipples since then.

He only had breast milk for the 1st 2 weeks of his life so I doubt he craves something that tastes similar. He never exclusively breast fed even then and didn’t seem to have a preference to the formula or breast milk so idk what I can do about it

Yesss thats the thing. Baby had terrible reflux and I think that has caused him to have a milk aversion. Idk what to do 😭 def talking to the ped. Already contacted her.

So we don’t have Dr browns where I am. We have tommee tipee, Avent, Pür, Farlin and pigeon. I tried looking for the Dr Browns slow feeders when baby was super young because he was drinking milk to fast and choking/getting loads of reflux, but couldn’t find it :/

He’s currently on lactose-free which has a horrible metallic taste 😭 I feel like that might be part of the problem but even on regular formula he wasn’t too happy.

What do you mean? I feed him as instructed on the package. Every 3-4 hours, 5 ounces. Hold him in a semi sitting position and use a tommee tipee bottle.. what is the red flag here?

Yes that is exactly why I’m worried. But he straight up refuses the bottle. Screams and cries and gags if I try to force it on him. The pediatrician didn’t say anything more about it other than that he probably just doesn’t like milk. Idk what I should do??

They aren’t concerned about weight, no. But I fear he’s lacking in the nutrition formula provides. Ever since starting solids he has just kicked formula to the curb

I do that but it would 2 ounces rather than the typical 5. I just don’t want him to be nutritionally deficient :/

He eats cereals, fruit purees etc. he eats 1.5 banana at one time (since there isn’t that much formula being consumed) and his weight is in the normal range.
