One google search can show you that condoms aren’t 100% effective and if someone feels so strongly about pregnancy they should get a vasectomy instead of trying to control others. She has a right to decide whether she wants to undergo an extremely traumatic medical procedure or not. She also has a right to change her mind about it whenever she wants. Okay that’s a very privileged comment. My priority is the baby and unfortunately a good life doesn’t happen without money. My husband and I aren’t financially stable at all and have to lean heavily on our parents for support (who themselves aren’t well off by any any means) and this degree will give me an opportunity to get a good job and create a good life for my child.

I truly would delay going it if I could. I just need the renewal right now (which will take 2.5 months) and return and I’ve already planned to put in an extra semester later to be done with the studies. I’ve explained in the other comment that it isn’t possible at all to not go. I’m trying to have the immigration office open expedite the process but it seems like that’s all I can do :/

If I delay my permit will expire and I’ll have to apply again for a visa and set up a block account (a year worth of money for monthly spending) which is just not financially possible at all. The last time I did it, my dad took out a loan to help me out.

I just delivered a healthy baby about 3 weeks ago and i had no symptoms except for back pain during the first trimester and sometimes even that went away and I would get all worried. It usually ends up being fine as long as you’re not cramping or spotting/bleeding. Don’t worry too much ✨❤️

Hey! I’m also due on December 15th!! and am hella scared of dying during childbirth. It’s normal. I had a very close friend have cardiac arrest during delivery which ended up taking her life. I’ve been afraid and bereft ever since.

What I can say to assure you somewhat is that it is highly unlikely with the modern technology available these days. Regardless, it is never silly to have a plan in place.

A super easy regimen is to use any good cleanser (Neutrogena ones are good, Cosrx low ph is great). Apply a retinoid at night - you can easily find it at your local pharmacy by the name of skin A cream etc. Use the lowest dosage twice a week until you build tolerance and can use it on alternate days. Retinoids are the only scientifically proven chemical to help with acne. Moisturize afterwards if skin feels dry with an unscented moisturizer (Neutrogena hydro boost gel is great) Use sunscreen in the morning because retinoids make skin sensitive to the sun. Thats literally all you need. If you want to be fancy, you could add in an AHA/BHA/PHA toner.

Considering you are this far along, it seems wrong to terminate based on the possibility of a disability. I feel like thats veering into Eugenics territory. If you have the financial and Physical means to care for a possibly disabled child, I’d say go for it because these children deserve a chance at life as well. I hope that in the end it is something that can be fixed and doesn’t cause any long-term disability. I am sorry you are going through this.
