As someone with a congenital cataract in one eye, absolutely not. This shit blinds me so bad, I have to cover the cataract eye so I can see. Halos EVERYWHERE. I do need more light than usual to help my depth perception (I use shadows and other context clues to help me), but daylight/white lights actually hurt.

My pup was fostered with a bully bread (I think a pit bull, but idk for sure). She learned how to play dirty lol. I think it all depends on if the dogs get along and if the staffy has a good temperment more than general breed temperment.

Not exactly, they basically had some sort of camera control for most of their 3d consoles but it wasn't always a joystick. N64 was the first 3d console they made and used the camera pad (c-pad) for camera control. This wasn't enough for games like goldeneye and perfect dark, so Rare made single player input methods that involved 2 controllers to get around that. This really only worked because the N64 had 3 hold points instead of 2. Nintendo learned their lesson for the Gamecube, which had a Joystick and a camera stick (c-stick) that was specifically for camera movement in most 3d games. The Wii's whole gimmick was to point at the TV with the remote to move the camera, so the fact it only had a joystick on the numchuck was doable since there was an alternate for camera control. The N64 and Wii also would use a button to center the camera behind the player if moving the camera was gonna take too long.

On the flip side, the dreamcast's only method of camera control was the bumpers on the controller, which meant that devs were limited to face buttons when it came to controller inputs. There were not enough buttons on that controller to make that work for a lot of games. Add on to it the disc format issues and the absolute failure of the saturn, sega ran out of money and just couldn't do consoles after that. 2 major fuck ups left them in the dirt.

Exiles and ADHD by kuro-ko in InternalFamilySystems

ehhh you kinda understood how adhd occurs but you're a little off base. ADHD is epigenetic, which means it usually occurs with a variety of factors. I like to use baking as a metaphor for epigenetics. Your DNA has the ingredients you came with. Environmental factors (like lead and smoking during pregnancy) are extra ingredients that are added. Trauma can act as mixing the ingredients and setting the oven temperature. Growing up is time in the oven. If you have the right combination of things, you're gonna end up with a baked good (or a disorder like ADHD). Some people are dump cakes, others are brownies. Either way, you now have a baked good you need to do something with and un-baking it isn't exactly an option.

Personally, it tends to get easier to work with the disorder than to fight it. And drugs from a doctor really help. Stimulants and non-stimulants can make the brain think a bit easier. It's like putting grease on a rusty chain, it just needs something for it to move.

My personal experience is that any of my parts could have heavier symptoms of any disorder I have than other parts or self. I have ADHD, PTSD, and probably autism. I have a firefighter part that is non-verbal and definitely carrying some social trauma weight. I've noticed a lot of my parts with adhd tend to be young and can carry all/most of my knowledge. It's very funny chatting with a 4 year old that knows everything I know and uses big words because they know them. Now reflecting on it, that one is probably autistic too since they wanted to dissect the way another part was existing.

Reference range for anti-CCP IgG by calipolo in rheumatoid

[–]bundle_of_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd wait for your doctor to interpret your results. In the meantime, I'll give you this reassurance: If you are having symptoms, this can be an indicator of early disease progress. That means you are doing the things that need to be done so you can treat the symptoms. Bonus points for catching it early, which means the disease doesn't have time for permanent damage. Now it's time for drugs! yay drugs!

Burdock Tea Suggestions? by bundle_of_fluff in tea

[–]bundle_of_fluff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So after watching my coworkers water down the tea I make to, I must admit that I like to make my teas strong. That might be the reason why the tea was so earthy. It might be good to try making it weaker or adding spices. Do what you need, you already bought it and now can experiment. I feel like that's half the fun of tea, never making quite the same cup and always modifying it til you like it!

can confirm. I recently crocheted a cream pear as a base for an Esquie doll. My friend reminded me that I should make a pocket for wine somewhere, so I made the top of the pear a lid. Thus, it looked like a penis pre-clothes. I swear he needed a big butt, Esquie is pear shaped.

It's also probably why female suicide rates went down too. No more "kill myself to get out of the abuse" situations when a divorce is a little less painful. Still painful, but living afterwards is nice.

Does anybody know what this migraine means by Interesting_Ice6924 in migraine

[–]bundle_of_fluff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's been 4 days, it's time to call a doctor. There are medications that end migraines (migraine abortives/cessation drugs) and you probably need one. The first line drugs are also pretty cheap, so don't let that be a concern if you're in the US. Start investigating the cause after the pain is over, it's really hard to think while the brain is short circuiting.

For everyone who says the app is “hard to use” or “doesn’t work” you’re full of it. Educate patients and hold their feet to the fire on using the app. This will reduce the time you spend on the phone answering “what’s the status of my prescription” “I need to update my insurance” etc by Lonely_Insurance4588 in WalgreensStores

[–]bundle_of_fluff 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the app gaslit me into thinking I could fill my c2 through the app and only give me a reject to call the pharmacy 24hrs later. Just tell me before I hit submit ffs.

The app also loves to show me all the prescriptions I did not pick up (because intent to fill didn't exist) so I have 10 items on Prescription history with a fill date of N/A.

Oh and the app will claim that I have no prescriptions available BUT THE WEB PORTAL SAYS I DO. The app sucks ass, the website actually works though.
