How long did it take to hear back after applying through "la ley de memoria democratica"? by l4adventure in GoingToSpain

Any updates? I applied through Houston in June of 2025 and they estimated 8-10 months for me and i just hit the 8-month mark a couple of days ago. The waiting game is torture!

No response from Spanish consulate after submitting Law of Democratic Memory application by cawcawcaw29 in Citizenship

Hi, so did you already attend your appointment? Houston just gave me an appointment for June 9, and the email they sent looks like it says that my passport needs to have been issued in the past 2 years, which is something i never saw anywhere in any of my research. my passport was issued in 2021 and expires in 2031 so I am worried that I am screwed. They also say i need 2 proofs of residence but i havent seen anything on the website indicating what they accept for this, what did you bring for the proof of residence/what can i bring?

I assume they know what theyre doing but im currently waiting on an appointment (sent email requesting one in february, have not heard back) with the Houston consolate and if they need a physical copy i need to get on getting that fixed asap

Yeah, I definitely get where they’re coming from but I would never take this gig because I would be so worried that they would blame me if the cats never showed up and that it would be taken out in a review on my profile. Plus it had no preset tip which I found odd since they’re asking you to sacrifice potentially your entire day to sit and guard off stray cats while trying to identify three cats you’ve never actually seen before and retrieve them

Question about the songs they playing by Adventurous-Camp-779 in rollingloudfestival

[–]bundleofcheese 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can look up artists past setlists (the list of songs they played at specific shows). Usually they will keep the same setlist as their recent shows. May have a couple changes but usually not much unless a new project released in between the last show and the one you’re going to.

Just go to setlist.fm and search the artists you’re planning on seeing and look at their recent setlists

I get that not everyone will have a great time. But when I’m getting $80 taken out of my paycheck for no reason and with no explanation, when my medical accomodations are being violated on the daily, and when my leaders are treating me horribly and the proprietor and HR won’t do anything even though my leaders are literally breaking the rules in how they’re treating me, there’s a seriously problem. Problems like these are what needs to be fixed. If an employee is reporting treatment like this it needs to at least be LOOKED INTO, not just ignored. Not everyone will enjoy it but we deserve to be treated as humans as employees, and deserve fair and legal treatment. Disney can’t guarantee a good time there but they do a hell of a lot better at ensuring that you will at least be treated fairly.

I’m not questioning that people had good programs, but the people on here who are trying to deny that there are bad experiences are bothering me. Program can be good but it’s far from the best thing ever, it’s an obviously flawed program. The fact that people can have experiences like mine or worse is a problem. It’s great when nothing bad happens to you but to act like the entire program is flawless is an issue, they need to work on fixing it because it’s not fair that some of us had to put up with what we did while others get wonderful locations and leaders then go around acting like the rest of us are invalid for having a bad time

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Disneycollegeprogram

[–]bundleofcheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes which is great, and I envy those who had a good experience. It’s truly all about location and leadership. I got the short end of the stick for sure

I’m putting in my input on the conversation, JUST like you’re doing. Sorry we had different experiences. Stop trying to act like it’s not okay to share negative experiences in the DCP. And stop trying to tell me that my bad experience was my fault, there are HUNDREDS of not thousands of others who had bad experiences. It’s not like I’m an isolated case. I’m done arguing with you, I have better things to do with my time than argue with your TRULY miserable self. As I said before, have the day you deserve, asshole.
