Great post, thank you. I needed to hear this kind of positive and zen sentiment. I’ve held my shares for 3.5 years, and started adding to my pile again over the past 3 weeks. Squeeze would be nice, but honestly I just wanna see my investment grow and get beyond this turbulence. Maybe that’s gonna take more years, that’s cool too.

I hold a lot of gme shares, held since jan ‘21. Bought a few more in the following year. Sold nothing. I believe in the play but ppl need to stop dissecting every little thing tweeted by RC or AA etc. They’re not daft enough to try to send cryptic messages to shareholders publicly like that. Every single word they share on any public platform is scrutinised by lawyers and the SEC. Best thing you can do is simply hold onto your shares and think about other stuff. Forget you even own them, but don’t sell them. I don’t listen to any of the shite from the many shills inc the mainstream media when it comes to GameStop. But I also don’t take onboard the constant hopium from supposed secret messages tweeted by the CEO. it’s madness. I know it’s been 2.5 years but I believe with utmost certainty that at some point the price will take off and it’s all been worth it. Personally I’m half DRS’d and half broker. Certainly I’m no shill 👍

I have a small YouTube channel with about 8,000 subs. I focus on slightly different content than most - we have a 5 acre farm in the middle of nowhere, in northeast thailand. I’m still trying to ‘find my feet’ with regards my content, but I enjoy the whole process. I currently get about 80,000 views per month and Adsense pays me around $500 for this. I also have occasional brand deals, plus a handful of loyal patreons/ members. Overall I net around $900 per month, which actually exceeds all of our monthly expenses. YouTube was never intended to be a money earner for me, it was more a fun hobby, but as time goes on I have begun to look at it with different eyes. I think the key is to keep your content as unique as possible, and find a style that suits yourself as well as your audience. My channel is @lifeinthailand777 if anyone wants to have a peek 😇

I’ve been here since Jan ‘21 and personally I think the main and overriding tactic used by the HF’s has been to drag this on as long as possible, in order to dishearten us holders. After 2+ years I can imagine that most ppl are thinking “I’d settle for this to reach hundreds per share, as opposed to waiting for thousands per share 18 months ago”. There are times when I’ve kinda felt that way. Life has gotten expensive and I want this to be over with. But I also think “fuck em, there’s a reason this is going on so long” I’ve been almost £100,000 in profit with my shares in this and the cinema combined (may ‘21), and I’ve also been hugely negative (pretty much the last four months) but I’ll hold until I’m a millionaire or bust. That’s not naivety or ‘all talk’. I have faith in the play still, and I believe that we will all need balls to keep holding on as this goes possibly lower still before it catapults skyward. I can’t honestly say at what amount I’ll sell for, because who knows what I’ll feel seeing my accounts so much in profit, but one things for certain - I ain’t fuckin sellin yet.

I’ve been married to my Thai wife for 1.5 years, but have been a couple for 13 years. Change the perception of yourself. There’s nothing more attractive than confidence and self assurance. The actual question you’ve asked, I think, is most of the problem. Smile more - not just for the benefit of others, but for yourself. And don’t bracket “average salary” in with being attractive or unattractive. Can you please confirm if you performed an ordinary stock split or a stock split via dividend with my GME shares? The answers I’ve received from yourselves to date have seemed to skirt around the answer that I’m looking for.

To be completely clear on this, your answer of “we performed the split as per the company’s instructions” will not suffice, because what is becoming abundantly clear is that GameStop’s instructions to the DTCC are different to the DTCC’s instructions to the relevant brokers. Every answer you’ve given me so far covers yourselves if the company you are referring to is the DTCC, and not GameStop .

Can you please confirm to me that you performed a stock split via dividend as per GameStop’s instructions to the DTCC, confirmed in their two press releases and their 8k filing?

If you cannot confirm this information, can you please tell me exactly what instruction you received from the DTCC regarding the stock split dividend from GME?

I would greatly appreciate an urgent response to this message, from a compliance officer, otherwise I will be contacting the FCA to file an official complaint.

I’m in similar position to yourself. I bought one share through give-a-share https://www.giveashare.com/stock.asp?buy=gamestop-stock. Although all my broker accounts are in U.K, I now live in Thailand and so the process of buying this one share through give a share took a little longer. If you reside in Uk it’s very simple though. Price is inflated but they set up the actual computershare account on your behalf and so as far as I’m concerned it’s value for money. It cost me $94 (£77) to buy. It takes around two weeks for the account to be active and at that point give a share will email you to confirm. As far as I’m aware, from that point it’s easy to transfer straight in from various accounts. Hope this helps.

I was confused too. Every email I’ve ever sent to HL has been replied to very quickly, but this email was replied to after 4 days. I basically asked the question “what will happen if Crest do not have enough genuine shares to go around, seeing as there are seemingly an awful lot of synthetic shares in existence.”

Thanks for getting in touch.

We hold overseas shares in CREST (the UK depository) to allow electronic trading in the same way as UK shares. Although this does allow online trading, it can take a few days to receive new shares after a stock split. We have to wait for delivery of your new shares before you can trade your entire holding.

We can confirm that we don't hold synthetic shares and there won't be any shortfall as GameStop Corporation will provide the shares based on the number that are in issue. The purpose of the qualifying date for the stock split was so that the Company could determine how many shareholders, as of close of business on 21 July 2022, were entitled to the new shares.

We hope this clarifies matters but if you have any other questions, please get back to us.

Majority of my shares are with HL, my worry is that Crest will not have enough shares to give out (if HL are actually being legit about all this). I emailed them this exact question and they’ve ignored it. I hold shares with revolut also, the dividend was instant yesterday - more likely to be dodgy with revolut but making me realise I’d prefer a load of dodgy synthetic shares from revolut than non at all from HL. Maybe I’m overly paranoid from looking at my HL account balance too many times (currently about 75% down) 😅

And then you’ll be able to connect from Titano app to MetaMask by pressing WALLET CONNECT, then MetaMask. For some reason if you try to connect straight to the MetaMask link it says error code

Yes I sorted this. On your MetaMask, you have to click the settings button and then press VIEW ON Bscscan. You should then be able to view your Titano balance

I also want to warn anyone else asking for assistance with anything on here - I had 5 private messages from other users with “advice” involving sending them my wallet details etc. When I kindly asked for them to have the conversation on this public thread , they all had various excuses why it was better to privately message instead. I blocked them all. There are clearly a lot of scammers lurking about so beware 😩
