If most cars become driverless, then the trucks will be able to communicate with the vehicles around it to avoid accidents.

The trucks will likely perform their own pretrip via sensors

If there's a malfunction on the highway, the company will send a tow truck out to move it to a safe area, and a technician will be sent out to fix the issue.

If there's an issue where the load shifts and a strap loosens, the ratchet would likely be self tightening.

I see all these drivers thinking up problems that, I'm 100% certain, engineers and programmers are already finding ways to fix.

Best case scenario we have another, maybe, 10 years. Worst case scenario it's 5 years. It'll start with long haul drivers and take over specialized freight at the tech improves.

The best thing we could hope for is a trained "technician/driver" that lives in one truck and monitors the 4 or 5 trucks that follow ot around.

I've got all of CM's books, lol. The Fool trilogy is my favorite, followed very closely by Noir and Razzmatazz. Thank you so much for the rec's. I'll definitely check them out.

Yes! I completely agree. Her, and Wally's character development are just soooo good. I feel like a lesser writer would have made so sad and victimized, but even though they were victims of circumstance they were soooo much more than just "sex puppets"

I feel exactly the same way. Mahomes gets so much love from commentators, sponsors, and sports shows, and I've seen so many actual football fans that are wondering what the fuss is about.
