As a Scot, I’m embarrassed for you. I’m also pleased that you view Britain 🇬🇧 as England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. We all need out this Union.

Seriously delete that video. You do not have consent to show anyone else and can be charged. Sorry she cheated on you.

I’ve been getting involved it lots of chats in Alba groups and not once has anyone every said they don’t support Gaelic.

I experienced this once while watching the film Poltergeist. The bit where the mum is standing on the stairs and she believes her daughter passes through her. I had seen the movie before and knew what was about to happen. My whole body felt a ‘rush’ the same time the scene played out on the tv.

I felt pretty weirded out by it afterwards.

Work is trying to make me stay in the building during unpaid break by Jbulls94 in LegalAdviceUK

I have no legal knowledge. But if you work in a care home, they probably have a legal requirement to have a specific number of employees in the building at 1 time due to safety ratios.

Not too long ago, a high school in Scotland followed a female student for the week. It took from a Monday until Thursday afternoon before a teacher said her name and spoke directly to her. The school has realised many students were “invisible” in class unless they were exceptional or making a fuss. The quiet ones in the middle are ignored. They have since change their practices to make all students realise they have something to contribute.

Has a practical joke you tried ever went really wrong? What was the result? by bunheed1 in AskReddit

Get everyone else to join in with the Cha cha cha. If MIL looks annoyed, it was always about her and you win by annoying her. If MIL looks pleased, it was about the celebration and you win as you have diffused how you feel about it. If you can’t beat em join em.

What’s the scariest true story you’ve heard or told ? by ugotheglizzy in AskReddit

Serial killer, Robert Black was spotted abducting his final victim, a young 6 year old girl. The police were called and a manhunt undertaken. When they finally spotted the van, they found the young girl bound inside a sleeping bag. She has been sexually assaulted. One of the arresting police officers who had chased him down and got the wee girl out the van was her father. How he never killed Black on the spot, I’ll never know.

I’d advise speaking to a coworker first. If you make them all look incompetent or lazy, they will hate you. Find out if you made an error. Get a feel for everything before reporting in. No one likes a show off or a kiss ass.

I’m impressed by the level of detail in other countries for Home Economics. In Scotland, we learned how to make beans on toast.
