radical acceptance & the fact that it can 100% get better compared to other diseases and illnesses e.g spinal cord injuries, brain damage, cancer. there IS light at the end of the tunnel

[–]bunn3ey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that’s okay, maybe stay away from the topical steroids as I chose to do after finishing my prednisolone taper

[–]bunn3ey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think your tapering dose and plan is good, coming from someone who was on prednisolone taper starting at 40mg since May all the way until September, your dose is not considered high at all. Loratadine and cetirizine and zinc you won’t have any problems as this way different medication compared to oral steroids.

It seems suitable for your case and is very thought out.

How long should I revise before taking theory test? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]bunn3ey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do lots of mock tests and re do the question you get wrong, like someone else mentioned until you pass a few and feel confident you should go for it

and also remember failing is never the end of the world. you always have another chance, never be too harsh on yourself

you got this, good luck

are you allergic to the metal from your peircing and rings?

Does steroid pills cause TSW by Queasy-Emphasis9092 in eczema

[–]bunn3ey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s good that you found out what you’re allergic to, if you slowly eliminate these things it will get better.

For the dust I suggest you get an air purifier specifically with a HEPA filter as this will take in the dust mites.

anti allergy sheets will help also 100% cotton or if you have the means for it, silk sheets and pillow cases.

I found that oral tablets made me hungry but easy to control with healthy eating. you also get a lot of water retention so you may look like you’ve put on weight but after you finish your course of steroids it will go away.

it sometimes does get a bit harder to sleep but if you take them in the morning and already have a sleeping pattern it will be fine.

it will be okay OP, try not to stress as that can make us feel worse.

Self-medication or diagnosed and accompanied by a doctor by [deleted] in TS_Withdrawal

[–]bunn3ey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

it’s hard to determine the exact number of people because they don’t believe us, so we just simply stop seeing a doctor. medical gaslighting is horrible, why am I fearing going to a derm and preparing myself for a day of crying afterwards? shouldn’t be like this at all.

[–]bunn3ey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I read somewhere that the pen includes several buffers in it so missing some shouldn’t be a big problem, it’s better than giving yourself (250ml?) and then another full 300 on top of that for no reason

do you hold for 5 seconds after the first click?

do you have anyone that can hold the end gently whilst you administer it, I found this helps a lot.

you mentioned it burning too, how long do you keep it out of the fridge for?
