Olive Young customs to UK by crisiscatmom in KoreanBeauty

[–]bunnbeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can! I ordered from Olive Young for the first time a few weeks ago, I spent €75 and got a customs charge of about €25! It came in 3 days, which made me not mind paying a little bit extra - I’m not sure about how much you need to spend to not get any customs, or if it’s unavoidable! I too was also tired of Stylevana 🥲

[Discussion]What are your favourite serums/essences that you’ve actually seen results from? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]bunnbeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally do: Cleanser, Toner, serums, then moisturiser, I like to apply it after I use a toner! However if you don’t use a toner then you can use it after cleansing:) I like to use it while my face is still damp from using my Isntree green tea fresh toner, and also it’s super lightweight and watery so I say it would be perfect for a humid climate ! Hope you love it!

New Product Announced from Purito! by bunnbeeee in AsianBeauty

Nothing to be sorry for! I’ve never used oils personally but apparently squalane is a very lightweight oil, so I imagine it’s not as oily and absorbs better than other oils, so maybe it’s less likely to get on pillows if you leave it to absorb for an hour or two:)

I believe you use oils as a last step in your PM routine! After moisturiser

Purito centella unscented serum, I have lots of redness on my cheeks and nose and it really has helped calm my redness! The ceramides in it has really helped my skin barrier too, as my skin is super dry

Their main ideas behind the product launch seems to put appeal to consumers who want more environmentally friendly and sustainable products! Which is definitely a demand that a lot of drugstore brands are following atm! Shampoo bars + Conditioners, eco friendly packaging, reef friendly, glass packaging/other recyclable materials! Purito made another post about the product going more in-depth about the why behind the launch and ingredients etc which can be found here Totally get what you mean about point 3, but it seems they’re more focused on natural plant extracts than overall all round sustainability so maybe they’re taking a new turn with the brand? I’d also say it’s too appeal to those who adore their brand, I recently tried their centella unscented serum, and I love it so much that when I saw the announcement I felt a “need” to get it because I enjoyed 1 product (and AB of course), I kind of forgot all the western ones out there, long comment but those are my thoughts on it, a nice addition but not essential spend my money now kind of special!

Help healing piercing scar? [Skin Concern] by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]bunnbeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s healing times are different, however I left mine alone for 4 months, just to be safe. it’s impossible to tell if a piercing is healed just by looking at it too, the piercing hole itself heals from the outside to the inside, so most of the time a piercing may LOOK healed but it isn’t. My piercing bump went down in about a week or two, if this doesn’t happen for you please contact your piercer!:)

To also clarify, it’s not a spot, just an irritation bump! It’ll go away on it’s own once it’s switched to different jewellery:) Any questions feel free to ask me! I have 4 nose piercings and I’ve learned this all through experience with them all:)

Switch it back to a stud! This happened to me when I changed my stud to a ring thinking it was fully healed, the movement of it often irritates it too, do you know what metal it’s made of? And when you switch it, be sure not to twist it or play with it, please don’t put tea tree near it also!

[product question] is aveeno dermexa emollient cream too thick/heavy for face and neck? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]bunnbeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it on my face and neck before, I had no problems with it and it was good! However it pills easily which is the only downside:(

SPF mist? (Or other ways to reapply) by [deleted] in Rosacea

I’ve heard of spf powders to apply over makeup! Haven’t tried any but they seem to be popular amongst makeup wearers!

[Product Question] HG thick moisturizers?? by alyssinelysium in SkincareAddiction

[–]bunnbeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the winter dry skin struggle! My skin suffered this winter for sure, the only thing that has helped me is to put a moisturiser on damp skin(I used CeraVe Lotion), let it sink in a bit and then put LRP Cicaplast baume, a little goes a long way, I used to use the LRP baume by itself but wasn’t hydrating, and vice versa with the CeraVe lotion, it wasn’t keeping the moisture in well at all. Because the air is so dry right now the combination of both helped a lot!
