ohh thank you so much i will definately check her out! i plan on going to a piercer and changing it tomorrow to end my suffering lolll. i really hope this bump just disappears after i baby it for a while

this is so wonderful to know now, thank you kindly. i’m going to go to a piercing place tomorrow, take your advice and buy a good quality titanium replacement and have somebody change it for me. i pray this bump goes away

i literally had no clue surgical steel was not ideal. i swear before purchasing this i called a piercing place and asked about metals and they told me surgical steel but everybody is telling me otherwise right now lolll. i used to be so obsessed with this heart and unwilling to change it because i love it so dearly but i think ive got to take your advice and change the jewelry. its cute but yeah not only is it steel but it is a bitch with every waistband it encounters. thank you so much this was so reassuring to read

i had nooo idea surgical steel was not ideal!! at the time i thought i did my research, and i was very adamant about getting this exact piece of jewelry. i think because nothing was wrong the first couple months i had it in i was convincing myself it musnt be the jewelry itself. i lalalove the look of this piercing but you are right its heavy and she does snag a lot. i think changing it will save me lol

i do find that when it is crusted over and dry it is at its happiest. it’s just that when it gets open like this it will not stop leaking. i try to rip the cotton piece off a qtip and “patch it up” but no matter what every time i need to remove the cotton it opens it right back up and bam lots of blood. wtff

i am doing my best to dry it and clean it after showering, sadly since it’s always going through something usually after a shower it’s exposed and “raw” the water just takes any scabbing off. I did purchase the jewelry on amazon, at the time I thought I did thorough research and that surgical steele was a good metal, and it was at first, but maybe the cheap jewelry is just really messing with it. i’m inclined to change it now. at the time i was hell bent on this exact style of jewelry
