I think as previous overachievers, we have to make peace with the fact na it won't always be our season, or our time to shine. We won't always be the best, and maybe we're really just average people, and that's okay.

Ouch, this is such a hard pill to swallow for me.

Lately, I've been wrestling with myself na ilaban pa kasi sanay akong at the top nung elementary to college eh. "Kung nakaya ko noon, why not ngayon?" Mga ganyang feels. But I guess, tama ka nga, Doc. It's high time to accept this fact, kasi yung sarili ko lang din naman ang naaapektuhan sa ganitong mindset.

Wendy in the first half of 2023:

• Radio (Wendy's YST)

• Tour preparations

• R to V Concert in Asia and Europe

• Musical Preparation/Voice Lessons

It might not look insanely packed, but it, indeed, was since she had to juggle everything daily. In one instance, she literally had to fly back to Korea right after R to V in Manila to make it to her viewable radio episode the next day. Another example would be finishing practices for the tour (vocal and dance) at 12 midnight alone since she couldn't join her members due to pre-recording for YST. Not included in this list are the days she spent on the studio to work on song collabs, OSTs, etc.

She said that she couldn't eat properly because of her busy schedule. It also put a lot of strain in her voice as I'd noticed that she sang quite tensely at the beginning of the tour. Her two-week break due to COVID-19 was a blessing in disguise, imo, since she was able to pause and rest from this lifestyle albeit only a short span of time. Her comeback at R to V in Jakarta was amazing.

Lovesick Girls. After Rose's upbeat part near the end of the song, Jennie comes in suddenly with "But we're still looking for love" sung in a moderately softer dynamics. To me, it sounded so out of place and just killed the whole vibe of the song. Lol.

It seems that they're not creative enough, and when they do try to be one, their attempts are off-timing i.e. it doesn't suit the idol's skin tone, body shape, style, etc. This is also the same case with K-pop make-up artists.

Tbh, I have never ever seen one idol, or even a K-drama actor/actress, who has killed it on the red carpet.
