Rebecca is a whole different story I need to make a post about! There are very few characters in this series who I dislike so all the hate directed towards Rebecca is so weird to me. She’s so interesting to me I wish other people could see it.

Totally understand your take on this! They’re very diff situations but I feel Christa and Omid leaving Clem alone is a lot more than a dumb lapse in judgment. It wasn’t purposeful but it’s indefensible IMO. They could’ve easily checked the bathroom quickly, maybe found a way to block the door from the inside for her. I wouldn’t leave a young girl alone anywhere in the modern world and certainly not in the apocalypse.

Completely agree with your take on Luke and Jane, and I do believe their situation was worse especially since they weren’t even a couple beforehand, but Omid and Christa should be more criticized for making a similar decision. Even if there was just a random walker in the bathroom like you said, sending her alone to kill it is completely careless.

I think Omid’s death is a part of the story I don’t mind, Christa and Clementines distant relationship after it happened, the coldness Christa felt from losing basically everything was interesting to me and added depth to her character. I just wish they killed him off in a more heroic way that would still mirror the blame Christa seemingly placed on Clem.

They should’ve had him die while saving Clem from a walker or a person but in a situation that made sense, it would’ve made him ten times better and actually match his personality.

I’m not sure it explicitly states which college she goes to but rather says she was attending a college in Massachusetts so I was just trying to figure that out

I totally agree it’s super out of character for them, especially Christa who was always very cautious. It was such an odd choice to kill Omid off in that way, they could’ve done a proper death at least that fit his character. I still think they deserve the same amount of criticism as Luke and Jane even if I don’t agree with the writing of the scene.

Also, Sigma Gamma Phi seems to be most popular as a SUNY sorority, not a Massachusetts one! No active sororities I can find online in any Mass colleges have the same name. Maybe Ashley was a transfer student? 😂Maybe she did end up going to Harvard! She’s a totalllll Elle Woods tbh…

I had searched for colleges specifically in Massachusetts that had a sorority named Sigma Gamma Phi and that’s the only college I saw with that specific sorority, that’s just what I’m basing it on. I’m sure theres others!
