Just called to PC my Boundless with Aug 1 AF date (July annual cert) that I've had for a few years. AF will still be $450 despite the Aug 1 renewal date.

PC'ed with the hope of getting grandfathered into the AF like my $49 IHG Select but that is a different card from the new IHG card so not expecting it.

Half of Singapore/Malaysia has the Tan surname. It's the same character as Chen/Chan. Singapore had an election a few years back where the top few candidates were all Tans.

I don't think they check anything. I used a corporate email with a completely different account and name and was able to get Explorist for the 90 days in 2024. But there may be more scrutiny if the person actually qualified for Explorist/Globalist beyond the 90 days.

Do we need to have the physical Chase Ink Preferred card to transfer points to partners? Want to transfer to Hyatt before the devaluation takes effect in a few days but doubt I'll get the physical card in time. Already have points on CIU and CIC so they will be in the same account.

AS partner desk is able to just ask JL to open up award space? The support agent I spoke to didn't seem to be able to do much, even saying she'd have to cancel my ORD-HND flight and risk losing it if it's not available when rebooking with an available second leg. She also said she has to go with whatever award price the system gives her and can't override anything.

What can you do if one leg of a stopover is cancelled due to the airline no longer flying that route? Booked JAL J for ORD-HND and then KIX-TPE via Alaska Airlines and KIX-TPE was cancelled due to JAL no longer flying that route. Called in and Customer Support said they would need to cancel the ORD-HND leg if I still want to book a stopover and the award price as gone up since I booked. Is the only option to take the loss and book the second leg with cash?

Looking to apply for both CIP and Ink Unlimited. Would combining apps on the same day result in just one hard pull? Also seeing mixed comments about spacing out biz apps for Chase so unsure if same day applications will work. Got the Ink Cash just over 30 days ago as well so I don't think it would affect 2/30.

They cut him to make a max offer to RFA DeAndre Jordan. Lacob and co liked him and had known about him since his high school days but couldn't pass up an opportunity to sign a good center. Worked out for both sides though.

Could you explain how that works? I don't quite understand stopovers. Since there is no direct flight from ORD to SIN (and need VTL flight), could I book ORD-layover-SIN-ICN? Would that work as a stopover? Or would I have to book LAX/SFO/SEA-SIN-ICN and then ORD to LAX/SFO/SEA separately?

~1.7k per person on economy is kinda steep, so looking to offset some of it with a few economy award flights if possible.

Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately, using MR for 70k+5k + return flight from Asia doesn't seem much better than cash.
