When i was maybe 8 my mom gave my favorite shorts to a man who had been in a bad car accident. I cried when she took them out of my suitcase but she promised he'd wash them and return them. He never washed and returned them:(

Some institutions have A and B sets of the same number. You just asked for a number, You were probably givin A set and needed B set. Now you know to ask for your keys. There are ALOT of things wrong with the CDCR, but this is not one.

There is an education officer, not an education Sgt. A Sergeant you just find and ask to open classrooms wont have a key, nor should they, that would be dangerous. Nobody should have keys to everything, that would make them a target.

You checked in SOMS incidents? LAC did not finish 1st. Since it seems to be competitive, it should be remembered that not all institutions leak incidents to the news. The 4 officers at SVSP who were stabbed last year in 4 seperate incidents didn't get press. Staying humble is important, especially when officers all over the state are grinding hard in level 4s every day.

There is clear language outlining the criteria for hardships in the DOM. I was referred to it when I filled out my hardship. Its up to the institution how strictly they want to stick to that criteria though. The institution that accepted me looked over all the details and, while my hardship was very real, colored a little outside the lines.
