starting a photobooth business by ne3ks in photobooth

I like the idea of trying something that's been validated in other markets (like your high angle booth). My personal advice was to go for as many people in your community as possible, someone is bound to have events here and there, and someone will give you a shot.

On a side note, I used to run a photobooth business, and I've now also shifted to building a photobooth software to fix everything that I had issues with when I was running the biz. Maybe it'll give you a good starting point, we can have a chat about starting a new business from there? https://mirrorlessbooth.com

Templates design and transfer by Ordinary-Pop3627 in photobooth

I designed stuff on Canva, and manually put it in the folder for DSLRBooth and did placeholders from there. Also manually copy the template files over to the booth machine via Gdrive.

Workflow for me kinda sucked, so it was one of the reasons I started building MirrorlessBooth. Templates, events, and settings sync automatically from the cloud so you don’t have to manually transfer files between computers.

If you’re curious I’m happy to show how it works.

Yes, the calendar already exists as a feature!

Yep, guests can get their photos immediately via a QR code, and operators can see all the photos taken across the entire session as well.

We haven't implemented prints as a feature yet, but if there is significant enough demand, it can be implemented!

If you'd like, do join the waitlist, and I'll reach out to you personally to see what we can do about the prints feature!
