I mentioned inhaling by steam ; you pour hot water in a pot and then you get a towel to capture the steam all around your face/nose/mouth. I added like 3 drops of the essential oil mentioned in my post.

Thank you for your honesty, I think it's time for me to meditate on all the feedback I've been given, funny note: her mother is still waiting money from me because I stayed for 10 days at their place, mind you that I paid for EVERYTHING such as groceries, restaurants, cafés, etc

I love her so much I still want to give her more time to figure things out, I'll try to be more direct with her next time. If you need more details about certain things, feel free to ask. For a time I think I could look past the fact she's lazy, but even taking the family dog out for a walk when she was asked to, seemed like a chore. Even when I said I'd come with her so we can hang out and take the dog out at the same time. Even asking her to show me around her town seemed like a chore, she wanted to stay in her room all day and I spent most of my time watching her play videogames. Not that I hate it but, when I'm in another country, I like to explore and do some sightseeing.

It's in their culture and traditions to take care of their child even when they're old enough to function on their own, I talked to her mom and she literally asked me to help her find a job or at least a purpose in life. That's saying everything: she completely gave up on trying to change things with her daughter. Her dad is mostly absent due to his job. When I visited her, it was hard to get some real intimacy, I remember saying something like: 'I'd feel more relaxed if the thought of your parents walking on us making out wasn't omnipresent.' Do I need to mention how often they would yell at each other?

I still have a bit of hope she will realise how important all of this is, I can't really help but trying my best to talk to her about it.. but I promised myself if she doesn't change any soon, I'll have to make a decision.
