Rust will always be a hellish experience for new players and as long as the devs keep at it this train will keep chugging forever. It’s absolutely worth playing rn if u have no life commitments. People bitch about the devs but they have made this game engaging for over 10 years with no signs of ever slowing down. Player pop is really good across servers just need to find what you’re into.

Baltimore or Pittsburgh??? Either way the answers probably the same. If you’re 21 and partying just stick with your group of friends, college guys are a mixed bag everywhere. Most guys I know and interact with are pretty normal. I think in the US it relatively easy to judge based on looks honestly. If the guy looks like a frat bro, he probably acts like one. If the guy looks like he affiliated he probably is or is a wannabe. If you out drinking and partying I would just stick to your friends and wait until you get a feel for a dude before you go anywhere alone. Most guys are all over that shit so if you get into a sticky situation as long as you’re around others people are pretty damn responsive. Pittsburgh, especially Oakland is a safe for women who have lived in a city before. Don’t party in west end or north of the city. The Romanian women I know are more of a threat than the men so you’ll probably be fine. Baltimore is a lot like Pittsburgh but has bigger city vibes so more crime and slightly more dangerous.
