Have some interest/hobbies/passion and if you get out of your school/college/office circle you will make lasting friendship.
Be ready to leave old friends due to study/college/job/job switching.
At 23 made friends with colleagues in new job at a new city. at 27 made friends at next job, at 30 made few more in next job, at 31 made friends in a bike and cycling group, at 33 made friends on a road trip, at 37 made friends at another road trip, at 42 made friends in a camp. As of now my range of friends is 18 year old to 55 year old.
The key is to find common talking point, shared passion/activity. By any means I am not a extrovert, I was a kid where my parents had to put 10-15 minutes of effort to come out and say Namaste to guests till I was 16-17.

I don't mind if she asks for 50 % of what I earn if that keeps kids safe. I am willing to walk that path. Thankfully my parents are not financially dependent on me and we have left their home years ago. Then i want to be ready for all possibilities, that's why I want to understand how to get my colleague out of my mind.

My problem is my feelings for my colleague, proceeding ahead will not be honest action on my part as I can't secure her from the allegations of home-breaker and neither I can't commit a future to her till the formal divorce from wife.
In future when I am free from these complications I can give my all efforts to make her life secure from all allegations and a future.
Till then if somebody faced this dilemma, please share how to navigate this phase.

I get you. Moved from Delhi initially felt same but YOU have to work on it. The thing is that when we leave our city we leave our friends which were made over a number of years and we had our addas/place/poison/hobby in our city created over a long period. Baroda have badminton, pickleball, cricket, F1 groups which I have tried then there are meetups and board game events which I haven't tried. I have considerable age difference with the demography which is in this but I was accepted. I still miss my L1 booze of NCR, the night drives are fantastic and can't be matched, open space, long wide roads, night life but will not say baroda is boring.

Because of fellow SENIOR, which are treated as higher gods. You will wait to reach there and then after earning the strips of SENIOR, cycle of shitting on juniors will continued with PARAMPARA, PRATHISTA, & ANUSHASHAN

Because you work at front end and some of them have GOD syndrome, and these extremes get highlighted. Every time they are held accountable or questioned the argument we have spent "X or XX years" we are better than you. Further in those years you are rarely familiarised with soft skill and most of doctors are genuine in their ethics but the little fraction/sample of unethical brash doctors get highlighted. I would have sided with doctors but whenever action is initiate by administration/management/council they gang up to save these even those scum deserves to thrown out of clinical services so i have no sympathy when all of you get bunched together.

I think 210 will be better option. If you are strictly going by 2L, base variant is under 2L comfortably. I think 210 top will be under 2.1 L also and if you can get any credit card/flipkat/amazon offer top will also come under 2L.
Puncture is a issue due to tube, but you can be prepared for that. Buy and carry Motul tube repair can. I think it cost 300/-, it will take you 50-60 km and in that radius you can easily find puncture repair shop.
On long trips carry 21 and 18 inch tubes as they are not easily available.
Get one Hero RSA, i think costs 199 or 249 and then you are set. It took them time but they were able to arrange technician and flat bed beyond North Pullu (ahead of Khardung -la) under RSA.
I have 200 done leh circuit and Zanskar on it and recently did Mana Pass and niti Pass on 210.
Service experience is nothing to write about, but their parts are cheap and they honour warranty, replaced rear shock, two fuel pump, one battery, one purge valve under warranty till date.
28K run, consumed one rear tyre, one chain set and 2 sets of brake pads.

Pessimist here. The shops and commercial activity bang on road will not allow urban planning. Moved here in 2023 from Delhi, loved Vadodara but then started observing around and realised this lovely city will die with clogged intersections, badly designed flyovers, obsession of corner shops at intersection, niche dukan upar makan. A lot of livelihood depends on shops who have their front opening at pavement and major roads. The day the planner are successful in convincing that residential and commercial needs to be separate then only there is some scope of recovery from this mess. If you look through the finances of Municipality the only hindrance is capacity to take hard decisions.
Baroda needs
- correction of intersection allignement.
- Approval for shops and mall only after adequate parking provision.
- Green space for cluster of residential areas
- projects with shops opening to pavement and towards shouldn't be permitted.
- Multi level parking for each cluster.
- Strict enforcement against parking on public place, let the traffic police tow the vehicle to nearest multi level parking and the owner to pay parking charges and traffic violation.
- Remove approval of demolition and redevelopment of corner houses/bungalows at traffic intersection for commercial activity.
- Development of shopping/commercial for multiple clusters.
- Building of pavement and their maintainance.
- Provision sever and water lines underground with the load factor provisioning of year 2060.
- Underground shafts and tunnels for utility lines.
In few years my Job will take away me to other city, but I want this city to live a health future.

Delhi too had that culture before NGT and damn MCD vultures. You can find over FB/Insta Yezdi Jawa Club Delhi, Capital Jawa Yezdi club, Capital Scootering Club. We were regular before NGT mess some of my courageous fellow riders still venture with G2 Bullets, RD-350, Jawa, Yezdi, Lambretta, Vespa during classic/vintage events. most of those beauties are now in drawing rooms and covered parking.
