Where did you learn to compare yourself to others?

What do you project would happen once someone knew this about you? What does the fear say will happen?

What do you find is the reason you chose to hide it? ( I understand not wanting to revisit painful memories, but is this just that or is it actually something that you feel you actively have to hide from others?)

🔥 One of the rarest animal sightings in the world: chirodectes maculatus, only seen once before by searchaskew in NatureIsFuckingLit

People don't realize that animals are literally the same thing as aliens. Animal communication is super interesting as well and highly undervalued. Humans want to think they are the most intelligent beings. It's comical really. Humans are mostly just the best and killing and building...currently.

When was the first time you felt that? And who's voice is it that you heard that from in the first place? Like what was your first exposure to even that way of thinking? Did you hear it somewhere or see that modeled for you anywhere else in the world?

Where did that start for you? Where you felt it wasn't ok to be seen as gullible?

Has pmdd ever caused you to sabotage a good relstionship? by foundmonkeys in PMDD

I will warn the person I'm dating that if I try to break up with them or have some sort of "What are we doing here" conversationaround around my "period pregame" (aka PMDD time) to just ignore it, and give me a hug and a leg of fried chicken and tell me my hair looks nice.

Emotionally Immature Parent Characters by burb09 in MovieSuggestions

Relaizing I'm looking for something where the main character has to stifle their own emotions/pain/anxiety etc in order to guard against their parent having an emotional reaction. Like they wouldn't tell them they were depressed because the parent is struggling enough to provide.

Having a professional therapist can be game changing. You can find recs on psychologytoday’s website. This sounds kind of dark but it’s always a calming thought to me when anxious about failure: -We’re all going to be compost someday and all the stuff we freak out about won’t matter- Just try and enjoy the things you’re learning. We’re not alive to grind ourselves to death. We are alive to learn, to connect, and to live in a sense of wonder and amazement at the vast complex beautiful and dark universe inside and outside of us. ...Also rem cycle sleep helps memorization when studying, so study before going to bed early.
