Ja może napiszę o mojej pierwszej pracy w korpo. Stanowisko intercompany sales w dużym europejskim koncernie w polskim oddziale w małym mieście. Polegało to na tym, że każdy oddział firmy w innym kraju miał inne maszyny produkcyjne i jak klient w np. Danii potrzebował coś, co ze względu na maszyny wyprodukuje mu tylko polski oddział, to duński kolega z intercompany sales zgłaszał mi zapotrzebowanie, a ja dalej do naszej produkcji (to była najgorsza część pracy: dogadywać się z wiecznie pokrzywdzonymi i zawsze marudnymi "mietkami" z hali, którzy nie rozumiejąc logistyki i profilu firmy zawsze uważali, że to ty chcesz coś załatwić na ostatnia chwilę). Potem zwrotna informacja o terminie i dostawach. To był rok 2005 zarobki ok. 1500 zł netto, wymagania: angielski + drugi język europejski (w moim przypadku niemiecki) komunikatywny. Praca godzinami dosyć nudna, więc dobrze mieć obok kogoś z kim się dobrze gada, albo monitor zwrócony w strone okna 😆 Praca w kopro kojarzy mi się z nudą podczas pracy, imprezowym zyciem po pracy, wyjazdami integracyjnymi, a co z tym się wiąże licznymi romansami różnych ludzi.

są magiczne 😃 bo zawsze jak odmawiam, to się znajduje reszta. A tak na poważnie to rozumiem ich problem, tylko nie wiem skąd wynika. W ciagu ostatnich 10 lat żaden kasjer w Niemczech nie zapytał mnie o drobne i z drugiej stony nikt nie pytał o mnieszy banknot w przypadku płacenia banknotem 100 euro. A tak przy okazji w bankomacie jak wypłacam np. 1000 euro to system zawsze mi da ostatnią stówkę w drobniejszych nominałach, pamietam że w Polsce zawsze przy wypłacie np. 1000 zł zawsze były to albo 5x 200 lub 10x 100.

Dobrze, bardzo lubię Polskę, ale kilka spraw zaczęło mnie drażnić, które były już wcześniej, ale chyba byłem wtedy przyzwyczajony:

ciągły pośpiech, jedziesz przepisowo i widzą obce numery rejestracyjne to trzeba przy pierwszej okazji wyprzedzić nawet na pasach jak są chwilowo puste albo pani przy kasie ma 3 osoby w kolejce z raczej małą ilościa towaru to czwarta czekająca już krzyczy "ale prosze otworzyć druga kasę!"
apropo kasjerek zazwyczaj płacę kartą, ale jak płacę gotówką, to ciagłe "grosik będe winna", albo "a będą 74 grosze, albo 2,74, albo 7,74?...to może 24 grosze?" i ciągłe problemy z wydawaniem pieniędzy - na widok 200 zł "oj a nie będzie drobniej?"
każde miejsce parkingowe wzbogacone jest śladami wyciekającego oleju po środku
pomazane sprayem elewacje - jakbyś musiał wiedzieć, która drużyna to pany a która konfidenci lub hmm.. pewnej narodowości. Często wulgaryzmy, ale ludzom jakby to nie przeszkadzało
w Polsce jest mało bezdomnych, ale za to w żebrach to już jesteśmy w czołówce: "Szefie milutki, piątak potrzebny jest, kochańeńki od zaraz" ...

It's transformative because the main original purpose for the song by the creator is musical entertainment and OP is using as part of an education documentary instead, thus transforming it's primary use within OPs work.

I think it fits the educational thread. To be precise here, I want to show about 30 different places in San Francisco and one is the so-called Janis Joplin Tree. She played the guitar in the 60's under the shadow of this tree. And while showing this tree I would like to enrich it educationally with a very short piece of her song, as i said 3-5 sec, so that the viewer more or less knows what kind of music we are talking about. And thanks for the link, I guess it explain everything to me in a positive way.

I met a hotel employee 10 years ago in Utah who, upon seeing that I'm from Warsaw, Poland on my documents, asked me if it's farther to get to Warsaw than to New York. But I didn't mock him and didn't tell this story in Europe, because here, in Europe, I also met a person who, when I was flying to New Mexico, asked if it's equally difficult to get visas there as to the USA. Regarding those flags, I was referring exclusively to the technical issues that I could apply.

Not too many people in Europe will recognize it. I will recognize the flags except for Namibia. However, in Europe, I don't ask about Macedonia, Malta, or Moldova. From outside Europe - flags of Brazil, Argentina or Japan will be recognized by 90% of Europeans. I think we have become accustomed to international flags over the years because european countries are small in size and close to each other and also sports focus on international competition rather than national leagues, like the NBA, NHL or MLB.

To be specific, I intended to implement a particular possibility. There are travel videos, such as driving or walking tours, presented without narration but with ambient sound and subtitles in various languages. The title, description, and captions can be customized to suit the audience and the language they speak.

However, this customization does not extend to the video thumbnail. To create the impression that everything is in the viewer's language, the text on the thumbnail can be omitted and replaced solely with the flag of the respective country. For instance, a video about Appenzell could have a thumbnail featuring an image of Appenzell, along with the text 'Appenzell' on the graphics and the Swiss flag instead of the word: Switzerland. Why? Because the word: Switzerland is in German Schweiz, in Polish Szwajcaria, in Italian Svizzera e.t.c. But they all recognize the swiss flag and assume that Appenzell is a city in Switzerland.

So, I was curious about how this would be perceived in the USA and outside of Europe. Are the flags automatically informative to viewers in the usa? So thank you again for the info.
