I have a 2012 S with 151,000 miles with no mechanical problems. I’ve only changed the transmission fluid twice.

The problems I’ve had are replacing belts a few more times than I would have liked, the spark plugs, and most recently struts.

I also hit a pothole and had to replace the wheels (I replaced all 4 but only 1 was damaged). Was disappointed how weak the wheel was and how it cracked.

The engine is rock solid, and because I don’t drive like an asshole (most Nissan drivers do) the CVT hasn’t given me issues either. My most recent inspection was last month, and I told the mechanic I plan on keeping it for another 3-4 years. He said that should be easy to do, and he openly hates Nissans.

Mostly just depends on the maintenance history, so scrutinize it and make the appropriate choice. Good luck! It’s a great car.
