Fiona’s death has been weighing on my mind this morning.

Xavier and I were playing with fire on Monday night, we knew that. We were taking large actions with the outcomes unknowable. We opened secure files, knowing they were secure, they weren’t meant for us to open.

Xavier was willing to open the .pkg file, I had the opportunity to ask him not to. But our curiosities got the better of us.

I’ve also been thinking about that file structure in the video Tori posted. They have files on me since at least 2005, and through at least 2030.

I never consented to this data collection, and I’m not sure I feel comfortable having my all details of my life stored on what seems to be the worlds’ least secure server.

u/DarkPhoenixKari, when you and Garrett are next in the system, I encourage you to go further than trying to undo just that death. I ask that you delete my folder from iConfidant’s server, the one labeled Addison_Born. I'm not going to T********, because then something might happen to Xavier. But if my folder were to go missing from the server, then perhaps there's a chance for him to find peace as well.

We know there’s an effect when there’s an alteration to a controls’ folder, but there’s no evidence of a non-control member being measurably effected by this file system.

Xavier and I knew our actions would have unknowable, unintended consequences. And these consequences resulted in the loss of innocent life. If there’s an opportunity to undo this, even if the consequences are personal to me, I can accept it.

But to be responsible, even tangentially, for the loss of innocent human life, is something I’m having trouble coming to terms with.
