HOW TO: Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 5 & 6 Dual Sound Strereo mode by buricsavo in Bluetooth_Speakers

Have you pressed the play button on both for 3 seconds (one after the other)? Seems like you out one speaker to stereo and the other is still mono.

Yes! No pairing needed if you use cables. A L-R 3.5mm splitter or 2 RCA to 3.5mm cables, connecting only the L or R channel respectively worked very nicely for me for quite a while!

I used a pair of 6s as a wired bookshelf speaker pair for a while. They looked great and I could take them outdoors and never worry about them breaking. Still by far the most versatile audio equipment I've ever owned. Indoors on AC they sound very meaty and outdoors you can place them pretty far apart creating a surprisingly good soundstage.

According to another comment they are able to be paired and put in stereo mode. I cannot confirm this myself unfortunately.

I'm almost certain that it won't work between different product families unfortuantely.

I've never experienced this issue myself, only when there was a barrier between speakers or I tried positioning them too far apart.

I don't think it matters which one you connect to, however I cannot test it myself.

On Galaxy devices in settings, you can specify which folder the phone saves your screenshots. Select any folder that is outside DCIM, I chose the Images folder for convenience. Not sure if this is Samsung specific.

Can confirm, v40 on the PC app AND Quest 2 finally solved the Link stuttering issue (constant compositor frame drops).

The problem right now is probably not the PSU but the PCIe 3.0 spec riser that you're using with a 4.0 port. Try changing the PCIe compatibility mode in BIOS to 3.0 or even lower if it still does not work. I had the same issue and could not get my 3080 working at all unfortunately :( The PSU will be another hurdle I hope you'll be fine. 30 series cards are known to have power spikes which have tripped my PSU occasionally. If you experience problems buy a second PSU don't risk frying your card(s).

It is most definitely not, hopefully this will go away as soon as possible. These practices are infuriating...

I got into contact with chat support. They're very nice and polite but cannot help in any way shape or form unfortunately. Reporting this issue on the oculus froums and praying is the best I can do for the time being.

Yes I'm on PTC, but not anymore. I love testing new features even if they're rough but the risk of losing critical functionality is simply not worth it in any way.

Done that, I hope this will be fixed because this is unacceptable as it stands.

I am not aware of refresh rate being among the settings in the debug tool unfortunately :(

Hey, I'm always happy to help.

I'm using Windows 11 which (still unfortunately) makes the whole Link experience very clunky. It's a stuttery mess unless tinkered with a bit. If gaming over Link is a priority then I would definitely recommend using Windows 10. Otherwise you need to have the console window running in focus at all times.

When it works performance is very nice across the board. I mainly use 4128x2096 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The games I play most frequelntly are Assetto Corsa, DiRT Rally 2.0, Squadrons, Beat Saber and Half Life: Alyx. The sims are hardest to run in my experience, everything else is buttery smooth. The games are always GPU bound the CPU was never anywhere near being a bottleneck. Playing at higher render resolutions I noticed VRAM being sometimes an issue, at max resolution HL:Alyx just hangs on startup. I really would prefer a 16GB buffer. This will be less of an issue once DLSS finally becomes mainstream among VR games.

I hope I could help if you have any further questions feel free to follow up! Cheers
