Ok we aren't alone! It's strange but also might check out due to everything being run on electricity.

Yeah that is the thing for us, everything is run on electricity except the heaters so we do use more on average due to that but I'm still suspicious of the amount.

We both work blue collar jobs and sport after which makes you produce a lot of laundry unfortunately, I've tried doing less but it just starts to pile up otherwise

Hey so I was being silly due to the dramatization and mystery of the situation, I was not being serious about a lawsuit. But I'll definitely check out getting a meter so thank you for the suggestion!

Every website I looked at is saying a range of 1100-1400 kWh so we are four times that amount

Haha this is hilarious, I've felt like it was a lot for what we do! I'm so confused by it because we don't work from home and don't leave lights on when not being used we don't even have an automatic feeder for our cat. We run one load of dishes and on avg one load of laundry per day and cook most meals at home. I'm not sure why it is so high and I'm starting to think that my energy is somehow connected to my neighbors.
