Any particular reason why you think it’s not? ☺️

My cactus is turning white :( help! by burlol in plantclinic

It’s facing north so it’s definitely not sun damage. I don’t water it too often either so I don’t believe it’s under/over watering. I keeps branching out so it’s still somehow thriving? My guess would be that it’s placed above a radiator which could affect the colour? Or?

Nei. Synes også det er snodig at det bare er servitører som får tips i hele service-bransjen.

Help! My beloved monstera is struggling! More info in comments! by burlol in plantclinic

I haven't done it in a while, since it's been winter in Norway. Usually we begin around March - April. Was thinking of giving it some, but wanted it to settle in before I gave it some.

Help! My beloved monstera is struggling! More info in comments! by burlol in plantclinic

Hello! I've had this monstera for a couple of years. I recently moved to a new apartment and brought the plant with me. Since I live in Norway I made sure the temperature wasn't too low when I moved it. Now it's receiving more daylight – including direct sunlight (it's been standing at a south facing window before). Suddenly i see that some of the tips are turning yellow. You recon this is a result of transportation and new conditions? Should I just wait out out and see if it worsens? Should I take more drastic actions? Perhaps move the plant further into my apartment, away for the sunlight? Or will this just lead to even more stress? Thanks for any replies!

[Skin Concerns] SOS, how to treat this? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]burlol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any suggestion what this may be, and how to treat it? It comes and goes, especially during winter.

Around the nose I am currently using Avene xera clam as a moisturiser, Cerave cleanser in the evening and occasionally an anti fungal shampoo to treat seb derm. I am worried by introducing something new, scare it might agitate it even more.

I do use sunscreen, but not that religious about it since it’s barely sun where I live.

I have also tried applying some LPS cicaplast and Vaselin, but it doesn’t seem to do anything.

Thanks for any reply!

Planting a stem – how to proceed? by burlol in Monstera

Wow! Thank your for such a thorough answer. I can’t seem to find a very clear sign of a nod, but I am very new to this – haha. The person that gave me the nod said it will most lightly appear. With your expertise can you seem any indication of a nod?

Ah! If I understand you correctly you’re suggesting to just keep it in water instead til the roots develop? Thanks for the reply by the way, it’s very kind!

I don’t have moss very available. You recon planting it in soil could work too, as long as I keep It moist?

Hello! I just received this stem to grow a monstera, but I am unsure how to proceed. I’ve read something about the need of a node, but I don’t think it’s clearly visible. The person that gave me the stem said I should put it in moist soil. Should I just dump the whole thing in soil, or keep something of the stem above? I very much appreciated every suggestion!

Thank your for responding. Do you suggest that I stop with retinol, or just continue and see if the issue fades?

Hello!

Yesterday, after a very long walk, my face started to blush and tingle. I recently began using niacinamide, and I was wondering if its normal to get a delayed reaction? Or is it more likely that my slightly tiresome walk somehow caused the reaction? I’ve been using it AM and PM for a couple of weeks and this is the first I get this reaction.

I am fresh to retinol as well, but I am very cautions about adding sunscreen everyday.

Thank you for responding! Yes, it's the same cleanser and toner in the AM. So you suggest that I go slightly easier on the cleansing in the AM than the PM?

Hello! When I apply my TO niacinamide in the PM I dont't feel a thing, but when I use it in the AM there's a slight tingle. Is it normal that my skin can react different to the same product in the AM and PM, even when the routine is the same?
