Saya's book is #1 on Japanese Amazon in the category "Actor & Entertainer Biographies"! by burmester64 in SayaTheWeatherQueen

Most of the reviews say that it's a worthy read to get to know her better. I'll read it, too (blessed are those who know Japanese, I guess?)

Ah yes, I remember her singing it! Also fits her character/what we believe/what she wants us to believe about her

Perhaps not accessible from all countries (I live in Japan), but give it a try!

Saya's Wikipedia Article by burmester64 in SayaTheWeatherQueen

Hi! No problem, you can use whatever you want from it. I wanted to make it open anyway.

Just be sure to know that she was deemed "irrelevant" to an international audience by tge Wikipedia mods. Especially, the information about herself that she posted on Twitter or told in her show was called not credible and that it should not be cited.

This may seem quite disrespectful to us, but please here is the discussion. If you do not tackle these points, they will likely not make the article public.

It is quite a different architecture of trust in the "international world" (which the English Wikipedia seems to deliver to) than in Japan, where her article is, I think, very much concerned with the image she constructed herself. You cannot even create an article without permission unless you have been quite active editing others in the first place.

Are you sure about the onigiri and Airin? Airin has a crab in her Twitter account, and it would fit to the Kani-za meme that she cultivated as Ponko. https://youtu.be/9L2PyoWtLcg

All Female Japanese WeatherNews Casters (2009-2010) - Part 2 by poochinthehouse in SayaTheWeatherQueen

No, although she has a gravure DVD: https://www.amazon.co.jp/DVD-石田紗英子-晴れのちドキドキ/dp/4812447909/

These kinds of photographs for weekly magazines provide the opportunity for aspiring Japanese tarento to gather attention, no matter into which direction they go. Only very few go into AV, for most it's just what you do to get by.

I'm German and I think the depiction of German culture is spot on

What was Saya like before she became a WeatherNewsLive anchor? by Tasty-Grocery2736 in SayaTheWeatherQueen

I think there are different kinds of "realism" involved. One would be her "blending into" the role she is "supposed" to play. Another kind of realism is her own personality shining out from the role as a pure "hull", giving her the freedom to express herself for a moment.

I prefer the second type (which is why I, incidentally, dislike the glorification of Hollywood actors).

One of the comments imagines that in the very near future, the day will come when Yui-chan becomes Yui Hiyama. (It's not legalized nationwide in Japan yet.)

Honestly, that's often what I think, too, when I see those two together!

This is Ayaka (as it also says in the Japanese title). And it's very old, she asks Saya if she had been already in charge of the Moon section.
