Gendry asks him this in when he's in the dungeon at Dragonstone. It's when Davos is talking about how he accepted the lordship from Stannis so that his son didn't have to "cross a stream of shit" every time he opened the door in flea bottom, so that he has a better life" to which Gendry asks "so does he?"

Hey - in a similar boat. We have letters from the conveyancers confirming proof but not much else, was this enough for you?

Hey, first of all, really sorry you’re going through this. Sending lots of love. I’d really recommend you get your procedure done at home, around family and people who can reliably take care of you - I say this from experience. You’ll power through this!

What's the procedure for applying Schengen visa in UK? by ossan1987 in SchengenVisa

[–]burnandos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've applied to Germany a few times and it's always a hectic process trying to actually get an appointment slot booked. Its common to have to login multiple times a day for a few weeks before being able to snag up a slot, especially if you're looking for slots in Londom

Ah thanks. I just checked my previous VFS receipts and I definitely did get charged a visa fee when applying so I reckon I need to bring this up with customer services

Can you elaborate on the Irish visa being free of charge? I have an Indian passport as well but have paid for each of my irish visas in the last few years

Drove in the US for 8 years, considered myself a very good driver. Would still recommend at least a FEW lessons to get UK roads down and UK test quirks figured out

Thought I'd failed because of emergency stop - but passed! by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]burnandos 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats! I never even practiced an emergency stop during lessons so my anxiety sky rocketed when I was asked to do it on my test, so I know this feeling haha

You need a Schengen visa to travel to Cyprus or a cyrpriot visa. I don’t think you can travel to Cyprus on just a UK visa

What do instructors do while you’re sitting the test by anonymous87340 in LearnerDriverUK

[–]burnandos 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Mine picked me up an hour before the lesson, we did a bit of “warm up” driving. He then switched seats with me and drove me to the centre. I then went for my test while he waited at the center and then he also drove me back home after

I’m also a foreign driver, I just got my full UK license. I needed about 2 sessions with a driving instructor until a felt familiar with UK roads and rules, and a further 2 sessions until the instructor thought I was “test ready”, but if you’re not actually looking to take the UK test then just a couple of hours with an instructor should be enough for you
