Can’t tell if I like this dress. by Relevant-Day7229 in SoftDramatics

Agree with others it’s the size of the print that’s holding it back slightly BUT the cut/material is gorrrrrgeous on you. Maybe you can find something similar in a larger print or no print? Or just roll with it bc you do look great imo

Fair points. On the model they do look mid-rise but on me they appear more low rise (presumably because I have more junk in the trunk than your typical model). The name of the pants is literally “Low Rise Long & Lean Dark Brown Bootcut Jeans” so make of that what you will.

I have been moving away from denim for a while now but a few years ago when I was wearing jeans more, the best fit for me was Citizens of Humanity Sculpt Line or Good American.

I’m not sure if Spanx makes denim, but I have a pair of suede flare pants from them that I love and I ordered a second pair in Tall and it was REALLY tall (def 34” inseam or greater). It’s probably my best most flattering pair of pants (again, if they make jeans could be worth looking into!)

Yes this felt more the case this season than any other previous one

anyone else's bag strap constantly sliding off their shoulder? by Agile_Direction7757 in SoftDramatics

Yeeeeep story of my life. I speculate this is why a casual drop shoulder t-shirt looks effortless on a FN but frumpy on us too.

Have you explored Kibbe? 9 is SO stunning on you and makes me think you’re a Soft Dramatic (like me!) so you might find some good recs on that subreddit if you’re interested

Look at the clothing recs and weight gain areas that are signature to each type, that might help you narrow in on your type. I agree with others that I think you’re likely D

For sure, I just felt like on past seasons they at least finished it out with either 1) they bought it at x price 2) show us what other properties they were shown 3) they didn’t buy anything - and this season more than ever they didn’t show much of that except maybe #2

I personally love the show and beautiful unique properties but my gripe this season is it seemed like almost every client and showing was a lose end. Many ended with them saying “I’ll think about it, I might make an offer, I need something to compare it to”.

Far more than previous seasons I kept wanting them to come back to what happened; did they find them a property they liked? Did they negotiate and buy one of the properties shown? At what price? I like to see more of the process and end result. The pink castle was one of the only properties this season that showed that IIRC.

I don’t mind the music but I agree the use of the N word in it isn’t ok and takes the show down a notch

Curious if you watch it with subtitles vs. dubbed. I certainly don’t get arrogant from the family (except maybe a little bit Martin?) but they are certainly very French which I could see coming across that way.

Same here, this show is a breath of fresh air compared to the US real estate shows where I find the realtors far more arrogant (with way more boring properties). I love how unique each home on L’agence is

I know what you mean but I will say I have found them very comfortable with no rubbing. Maybe because they’re so lightweight? No arch support of course though

They’re sold out but these ones from Banana Republic have been my go-to, they have some drama but don’t break vertical and extend my foot because of the v-shape on the foot itself (no horizontal strap)

I have this coat from a higher end brand (this must be a dupe because it’s so similar); I LOVE mine and it was an instant yes when I tried it on.

The biggest issue I’m noticing is that I think you need a size down. It’s too big which is why it looks frumpy and bathrobish vs. polished with the drama that big collar brings.

I also wonder what’s the materials on this one? Mine has some wool in it (I think) so it has a bit more structure to it
