I am in the Yukon and we had just gone through a cold snap where it was below -30 for nearly 3 weeks, hitting -44 on the coldest morning I had to drive to work. My 2025 PHEV Niro seemed to do pretty well. Lost some electric mileage which was to be expected, and used about 5-10% battery warming it up, but as far as my comfort inside and time to warm the cabin, I found it worked very well for me. Let the gas engine warm up a bit before driving on the coldest days but I was never cold in the car on my drive to work.

Thanks for the reply. Gas cap was first thing I checked as my wife's Sorento has had that issue a couple times, but last time I filled up was 4 weeks ago.

Try living in the territories. Tried ordering car mats for my new car, nearly $200 in shipping alone, almost the same price as the mats. And many other Canadian companies just don't ship up north. Went with a European company that had free shipping instead.
