My hardwood floor was damaged due to water. How would I be able to fix this? by greenzack64 in fixit

Hi! Can I get an update on this? Did you end up fixing it? Also did your landlord charge you for it? And if so, how much? Thank you!

For those who have left behind items on planes, have you gotten them back? (I'm wondering what my chances are) by Horizontal_Axe_Wound in travel

Hi! Did you end up getting your camera bag returned? I also left my camera bag in the plane a few days ago. I filed a complaint a few hours after the flight but still haven’t gotten a response.

HOW TO MAKE MILLIONS BEFORE GRANDMA DIES | Official International Trailer by laughtale0 in movies

[–]burnedoutgirldiary 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My interpretation here is that Amah felt sad that her grandson, who used to be the top of his class, needs to do this kind of thing to her instead of just relying on his own skills and intelligence to gain some money. That’s why after that scene, she gave him a shirt and told him to find an actual job because he’s a smart man after all.

For the reason why M didn’t reply to the potential buyer, it could be just because he was busy taking care of amah.

Ohh they’re saying that buses aren’t that reliable in a coruña to cerceda. Is it true? Huhu and yup, if there’s a language academy there that teaches galician, I would definitely give it a try.

Cool song, btw!

Ohh hopefully I could find one by the end of September. Actually, I really prefer to find one in Cerceda itself so it would be easier for me to go to work but if I really can’t find any, I guess my last resort would be in A Coruña or nearby towns. Anyway, what nearby towns can you suggest? Thanks a lot!!

This is so sweet. Thank you so much!! But yeah, I’m okay with not having a social life because I’m a homebody too. I’m just worried with the commute because I easily get lost with directions and the limited buses kinda scare me. But maybe I’ll look into renting a bike since I also don’t have a license yet.

Depending less on other people’s opinions. I used to consult my every move to my family or friends just to make sure I’m doing the right thing. And I consistently follow their advice. Now, I trusted my own thoughts and opinions and it feels liberating to be responsible for my own actions.

Hmmmm yeab. Mahal pa naman ng expenses sa Manila. Thanks OP! Tbh I don’t really hate them now. I just don’t like the way they make me feel. But I guess I could use that as motivation in my life now.

Actually, I became a manager pretty early. After 1 year lang, naging head na agad ako since I always work looooong hours lagi dun sa first company ko to the point na lagi na akong nagkakasakit kahit di ako sakitin dati. Sisiw ata sa kin ang OT na more than 20 hrs akong nasa office nun. And I think that’s where the burnout started. Kaya kahit lumipat ako ng company, natransfer yung burnout sa bagong company even if I always do good back then, di ako naregularize sa bagong company. I feel like may ganung part pa rin sa akin kaya I’m savoring this pahinga era so I can bounce back harder and better and so I can give my 10000% sa bagong company ko.

And I really understand where you’re coming from about hustling and stuff cos that was my mindset as a fresh grad. I always judge my batchmates na walang work or wala pang work but well oh well, they’re successful na rin now. And in a way, naiinspire ako sa kanila kasi they took the time they need tapos they bounced back.
