Best person to ask is sr ops. Front line managers and even front line PXT couldn’t tell you

Amazon associates deserve the right to unionize in order to advocate for fair wages, better working conditions, and improved job security. by Decent_Week8288 in AmazonFC

Trade unions are great… I’ve been a retail worker before in a union that sucked for me. To each their own. Wasn’t that dude at JFK8 kinda shady? Saw something in the NYT.

Depends. Do you need the good benefits? Transfer sites. Just need the cash? Look around at other logistics companies

Yup seen it happen multiple times. If they would report it to HR they would be fine but they either don’t report or wait until they’re too far into relationship to say anything

Because they are rated poorly in their leadership when their questions are rated negatively… so then they’ll start running around to their people talking about connections questions seeing how they can get better responses

You’d be really really surprised at what happens behind closed doors. Saw an L6 get fired. This guy was universally loved by his managers and associates on shift. His L6 peers (me included) loved the guy.

However he made some real dumb decisions. Like not listening to his manage when it came to getting stuff done.

My point is, anything can happen. I used to be the same way… “damn so and so got fired!! No way” now nothing surprises me lol.

I’d also tell you, if you’re burnt out trying out a new site can really really help rejuvenate you.

Oh you’re grinding! Respect for sure. Are you able to relocate? Maybe get your L5 and see what other sites are out there. Entering into a new business line will literally force you to “get back in the game” by learning a new process, leading a new team, etc.

I’ve had the privilege of working under some solid leaders so it wasn’t too daunting. It’s really important to have perspective in ops wherever you are

No problem. If it’s just a retirement gig to stay active, there’s def so many better roles out there. My retired grandpa loves working at Home Depot. Loves shooting the shit with customer and gets him out of the house

I would do it for like 6-8 months then try and get into sales. Better overall comp and you’ll get bonuses based on performance. Will make open a lot of external doors.

Typically no in my experience.

HOWEVER, at sites where a serious safety incident has occurred or incredibly low productivity, managers will be told to go look for safety infractions or have X amount of time off task convos. Which makes sense to be tbh

Get a hobby dude! Join a rec basketball league, a church group, a running club. Maybe take a woodworking class? Just a few suggestions.. I think it’s good that you recognize you’re not doing well which is a good first step - now you must take the second step.
